"Simple to sign up, almost impossible to get in contact. Tacked on $850 charges at close out for a pristine return that was professionally detailed first. Tried to dispute and they just referred it to debt collection agency. Will never use again."
"BUYER BEWARE!!! I leased a vehicle with this company for six months. The vehicle was retrieved on 28 April 2023. I did not receive a final invoice until a month later, on 23 May 2023. The company attempted to charge me a ridiculous amount for normal wear and tear, told me that there would be no adjustments made, and blamed the appraisal company they hired. A Senior customer care agent by the name of Taylor stepped in and stated the noted issues were normal wear and tear and said, “ I think there was a little confusion as you have not been charged anything for the scratches on your vehicle. We determined these as normal wear and tear and waived this for you.” Fast forward to a year later, on 29 May 2024, I got an email and invoice stating “Final Notice” and that I owed them for scratches on a tail light, and if the payment was not received by 7 June 2024, they would send me to collections. This company is a complete SCAM! I regret doing business with them wholeheartedly. The entire process from beginning to end was and still is a complete nightmare. I sent several emails to their “help” email address because there is no other way to contact them as they have no working phone number and no response. I require this company to remove this fraudulent charge immediately."
"My experience is pretty similar to the other 1-star reviews. FINN’s communication is awful. We signed an extension for 2 more months with FINN towards the end of our lease. Then i receive an email saying they could not honor the extension and that they would need to pickup the car that week. Very frustrated i spoke to support who said they could do anything about it, so i schedule a day for it to be picked up and THEY NEVER CAME. In the meantime we had to Turo another car for an absurd amount. FINN then sends a message saying that the extension was granted and they could let us keep the car for an extra month…. So then we were stuck with two cars in NYC. An absolute mess. Similar to others, they overcharge crazy amount of fees if they find a single scratch. Our car had two scuff marks that would be very easy to clean off and they charged us $1,000. I’ve emailed / called a dozen times about it and no one has responded. Run from FINN, absolutely not worth it. The company really has some difficulty communicating."
"Received an email from Finn that they are suspending operations and terminating my contract. They are giving us less than 30 days notice to return the car. Our contract was for a year until June, and this couldn't have come at a more inconvenient time since the car was needed for something important in May. Insanely unprofessional, I wish I had looked at the other reviews on here before leasing with them."
"(Updated after 2 months from 4-star to 5-star! I'm loving FINN!) Overall I'm satisfied with FINN and would recommend exploring them to others. I would also 100% recommend considering car subscription to car leasing or long term car rental - the numbers just don't make sense with these last 2 options. FINN's vehicle options have a variety of vehicles & monthly fees for different budgets. Many of those options are new cars (mine was). The site is good and the ordering process was fairly easy - though I would have appreciated a bit more flexibility in reaching customer service so I could have my questions answered immediately and made the decision that day. Instead, I had to wait more than a week to get all my questions answered and had to call them when I hadn't gotten an email response to follow up questions after 2 days. The approval process was very easy and quick, and even included a discount for good credit. The handover process was easy and fairly well-executed. The one exception was the inability to get more than a few hours notice of a delivery window - was told they'd make a request but couldn't guarantee even which half of the day. This seems inflexible in this day and age. But the delivery person, once the delivery date came, was awesome and super responsive and professional. He was actually the most responsive of everyone I communicated with :), and gave me a specific ETA before he got on the road to get to my place. The vehicle is in excellent shape, though I haven't driven it much yet! And all the necessary documents were in the glove compartment, including the owner's manual. My favorite part of the subscription is not having to lay out a huge down payment for a rapidly depreciating asset and still being able to get a brand new car."
