"Reserved a car at the 31st st location, got a cab up there and found they had closed for the day without warning - no heads up, no courtesy call, no nothing. Just a message to go to the one on 49th street. Got a cab to that one and they were closed for lunch! I had to leave and get a car from Avis instead which cost more money, plus I’d just wasted $ on two cabs when I could have just walked to Avis all along. I had reserved this car weeks in advance, so they knew I was coming. I’ve never seen such contempt and disregard for paying customers. Obviously, I would recommend no one ever uses this place."

"Bad service, the guy at the reception was very rude and racist, we don't speak English perfectly and when he saw that we were Spanish speakers, he started talking too fast and yelling at us. On the phone they told us that we could use a debit card, but when we arrived to pick up the car, they only requested a credit card, there was no solution. Terrible customer service."

"Average place. Trying to get advantage. I rented a small or compact car. They charged me almost 100us for an "upgrade" but I didn't want it. They just didn't have the car I rented available. My rental fuel wasn't completely FULL. RESNPOSE FOR BUDGET COMMENT (As the place sugested it was FULL... IT WASN'T!!, it took almost 15usd more to pass the Full mark) But, you are welcome! I returned just in the same mark, with 15usd less for on a full tank, AGAIN, You're welcome! And thanks, for not having the car I need it/rented. At least I took it offroad to ensure the suspension was OK! HAHAHAHA."

"Horrible experience. I reserved a Premium berlina and the car that I got was a Toyota Corolla Cross, not a premium berlina. In addition, I booked Wifi in the car and the WiFi was not available. But the worst point was that the car was very dirty externaly and mainly internally. The interior of the car was in a horrible status, not ready to be rented. The treatment I received in the two Budget offices in Manhattan that I had to visit was horrible. I spent two hours trying to get a decent car without success. I Will never back to Budget and I Will recommend the same to family and friends."
