The manager that I dont know the name, a woman, cancelled and started screaming with a client in front of us… after it I booked my reservation for 1 day, she told us to wait because other clients more more days have priority. "My credit card has been charged twice for the same unsatisfactory Alamo rental experience On Saturday 18 November 2023 I went to Alamo office 44th street New York city to collect the car I already booked online. I was offered an upgrade but I declined. I accepted the Fuel Service option assuming the fuel tank was full. I got a Hyundai Santa Fe with only 25% full tank. I returned the car on Sunday 19 November 2023 and received the invoice for 182.43 USD on 20 November which was deducted from my credit card. I noticed that I have been charged for Fuel Service option despite having to fill the tank and pay 48.03 USD. Then I noticed that my credit card has been charged again for the same rental amount 182.43 USD. I sent an e-mail to Alamo to inquire but I did not receive any response. I used to rent cars in USA from another rental company but Alamo 44th street New York city was the nearest to my hotel. I did not expect that it would cause me so much headache!!!"
