"Horrible sales experience. Pushy manipulative and rude. Hidden fees and lies. Unethical hard sell. Snake pit. Plenty of other places to buy a car. Stay away!!! Thieves!!!! Dear Manhattan Jeep. Thank you for your response. If you don’t like my review, train your people here to not be such scumbags and return my STOLEN five thousand dollars. My review SHOULD be concerning to you. It is ABSOLUTELY TRUE. Since you asked, I will offer more details. I was there with my 17 year old daughter. She also thought this dealership was mean and rude was filled with dishonest people. The sales guy was manipulative and lying. Fees of $5600 were tossed in at the end after the deal was agreed.. “I will split the extra $5600 with you and just add it to your monthly payments”, was the sleazy sales pitch from the finance guy. It kept getting worse. We were there for five hours getting jerked around. My bad for staying more than five minutes. The absolute worst sales experience we had and we went to many dealerships. The manager in the dealership held my credit card and then charged $5000 on it as a deposit even though we had not made a purchase yet and I told him to give it back.. It was totally unauthorized. It is going on two weeks now and I’m still waiting for the dealership to return my money. Obviously, I’ve already started formal complaints with the credit card company as this is nothing short of fraud. Please make sure my $5000 is returned before you respond to me again to address this very honest review of your very dishonest dealership. BTW: We bought a car from Hudson Jeep in Jersey City who did great by us and they’re very honest and not that far away. The are highly recommended."
