"Zipcar was once a wonderful company with excellent customer service. These days it’s poorly run with uninformed people who don’t even know how to operate the software. I occasionally use them for out of town meetings and consistently have problems like the car is not there, won’t start, is filthy and smelly. On St Patrick’s day I had to be in NJ for a meeting and the car was not working. The garage attendant said it had not been working in a while. The customer service person at first wanted to send me miles out of the way for a replacement but after 30 minutes on the phone was able to finally find one across town. It cost me over 50.00 in cab fare which they promised to refund , while also making me one hour late. Zipcar refunded me only 15.00 and refuses to pay for the cabs even though I sent the receipts. If you want frustration and zero customer service use Zipcar otherwise look elsewhere. I certainly am."
