"On Tuesday August 6 TH, 2024, I called to schedule a appointment at this location to bring my vehicle to checked the battery because my battery & engine sensors were on. The receptionist scheduled me for 11:30 AM on that day. I then brought my vehicle. At 10:56 AM I received a text of welcoming to Paul Miller Toyota from the Service Advisor: Mr. Chris Gesell introducing himself & telling to please keep an eye out for the multipoint inspection video message from their technician. Finally, after one longue hour of waiting, Mr. Gesell came to the waiting area and explained to me that the technician Mr. Miguel Rivera : found the problem: The alternator. Mr. Chris Gesell had one of the worker driving me home and told me that the next day(08/07/24) that they will call me when my car is repaired and send me a Uber ride to pick up from home and bring me back to the dealership. By their surprise, I made the arrangement & showed up by myself I then ask Mr. Gesell why the technician did not send me the diagnostic video. He replied : “ I don’t know “! and ask me, why I told him that this morning. I replied that I realize it early this morning. However, I ask to talk in person to the technician in charge Mr. Miguel Rivera. Another worker show me that the video from my car was taken, but it only showed my car & no trace of the technician explaining the diagnostic of the problem. The technician stated that after scanning my vehicle, had found a dtc for a gross leak, he performs a evap System inspection & found fuel cap not sealing well due to filler tube and being out of alignment. He loses filler tube & adjusted figment & replaced gas cap & ran evap. test & car pass. Mind you, I brought my car last year in September 2023, for this exact problem of gas cap,(which I also brought a brand new one from Auto Zone), they replaced the old one with it according to the technician on duty at that time. Not to mention that I ask him ,( Mr. Miguel Rivera to bring me my old fuel cap ,( to return it to AutoZone and have the amount refunded), Mr. Miguel Rivera replied I don’t know!… it is in the garbage”! I waited & he came back with a random cap ,(which by the way is a van fuel cap). Not to mentioned that when I finally got my car, the AC was on to the max, the inside light of my car was still on, and my radio station was changed. I don’t understand why people touch things inside customers’s car. 1) why did the same problem occurred eight months and one week later? 2) Why did the technician Mr. Miguel Rivera changes the gas cap without my consent? I was overcharged $32.84, however, after showing all the paperwork, Mr. Chris Gesell told the cashier to refunded me that amount back on my credit card. The total of the amount changed to me came up to $1 058.03 even though received a 15% reduction. I have brought my vehicle at this dealership in 2021 and I have been going there for the maintenance of my vehicle until as of today, August 7, 2024. Paul Miller Toyota of West Caldwell has lost a very long time. Customer and I am very sad and disappointed."

"Came to Paul Miller after horrible experiences with SEVERAL toyota dealerships (Toyota Universe, Parkway Toyota and Toyota of Hackensack.) This dealer is a breath of fresh air, all the folks here were genuine and helpful! We started by being introduced to Marvin Garcia who became our primary contact and liaison on finding the best car to fit all of our needs. Marvin was a mechanic in a previous life and was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We knew right away that his main priority was trying to get us the right vehicle! We later worked on figuring out if Toyota financial or a private lender was the best route for our family, during this time we met Sammy and his presence and experience was crucial to a smooth experience. He was able to tell us what Toyota had deals on as far as finance and also what to expect out there in the market. Ultimately he showed us all of our options and gave us space to make a good decision, but, he offered advice when we were lost or confused. Nelson and Jamie from the management team were able to stop by and say hi during our visit making sure that the process was going smooth and keeping the customer experience at an all time high! (usually you never see the big bosses walking around and getting their hands dirty… THIS SEALED THE DEAL && earned our business) The paperwork process is usually the most confusing and annoying part of every dealership visit, BUT, with Ryan Stewart the finance manager this was a BREEZE!!! Ryan works extremely efficiently and moreover was able to find us an extended warranty that worked for our budget and expected milage. All aspects of the deal were thoroughly documented and Ryan was well spoke and clear on what each section contained. -Chris & Michelle"
"My Wife and I decided to buy a Rav 4 and after visiting other dealerships with very "Questionable" Cars We decided to pay Paul Miller's Toyota a visit to view there Inventory of used Vehicles. One of the Salesman Juan was very Courteous and helpful the minute my Wife and I entered through the doors of the dealership. Unlike the other Toyota dealership in Totowa NJ where no one was eager to assist you or gave you options in your purchase. We were treated very well, Mr Juan was helpful and knowledgeable about Inventory and the process involved in us purchasing a 1st(Car) Toyota for our Teenage Son.Paul Miller's Inventory was top notch with great Vehicles in outstanding conditions. We came in 6:45pm and by 9:45pm We. Left with a pre-owned Rav-4 XLE Fully loaded in mint condition with all the safety features that would give us as Parents a piece of mind the SUV had great price low milage and exceptional Extended warranty. Although the dealership closed all staff involved in the sale of this Vehicle was patient and Courteous in our wait for the Insurance Company to get all the necessary paperwork for completion of the sale.Hats off to the Paul Miller's Toyota of West Caldwell and there Staff.
