"It's perfectly ok. The staff is a plus. Has some surprising variety but occasionally runs out of things like dog food (I think it's at the end of someone's supply chain and subject to crazy swings in demand due to tourist economy). >"

"I am a long-time Price Chopper customer. I primarily shop at the Oneonta, NY store, and I always have a positive experience, even when they are busy. Unfortunately, the few times I've stopped in at the Cooperstown location, it has been very different for one reason or other. Today, only two registers open. I was patiently waiting on line (longer than usual) as the cashier took methodical and sluggish care of the customer in front of me. Another customer joined the line behind me, and suddenly, another employee appeared and ushered the customer behind me to a register that had just opened. One would think that quality customer service would take the next person on line that has been waiting an excessive amount of time! I will stick to Oneonta from now on. Very disappointing."

"Expensive but if you only purchase the sale or deal items then it's well worth it. Meat when on sale is excellent. Self check out is super quick unless you are needing paper bags then the "watchers" get pushy and shove their way in to make sure they add that 5 cents for each bag on."
