"Guaranteed reservation -- no car. Vacation ruined. Arrived at Enterprise 9:30 a.m. per reservation. Was told no car available and that no car would be available. Reason they stated: they purposefully overbook. You are forewarned by all these one-star reviews. Do not rent at this location."
"I’ve rented cars dozens of times, and this company is by far the worst. I made a reservation one month in advance, but they told there was no available car when I visited the branch. They insisted they didn't inform me of it in advance because they didn't know my phone number. They also insisted their ignorance of my phone number was because I made the reservation through a third party. In how many ways are they a terrible company? First, they ignored my reservation and didn’t secure a car for me. Second, they should have emailed me if they really didn’t know my phone number. Third, their excuse means that they use third parties to acquire more customers but do not receive necessary info such as phone numbers from them, which is totally ridiculous. Fourth, actually I made the reservation through Enterprise's official website despite their excuse. I received an official confirmation email, in which my phone number was stated. Even when I showed the email, they kept insisting it was from a third party. Believe it or not, they went so far as to make an absolutely nonsense excuse by saying “This is a third party’s.”, referring to my email app! Due to their extraordinarily defective and lazy operation, I visited the branch for nothing. I had to secure a car at the airport. I wasted lots of time. I wouldn't have needed to use Uber twice if they had let me know in advance. I also suffered losses due to more expensive car rental fees than the original reservation."
"Price was reasonable. Excellent customer service. The guy working that day helped me out a lot when he didn't need to, if it wasn’t for him I wouldn’t have been able to get the rental."
"Truly a terrible place. We made a reservation and when we walked there to pick up our car, they said that there was no more vehicles. When we said something about how they should have called us, they said they were really busy and couldn’t be bothered, and then just launched into excuse after excuse after excuse, but no apologies. They offered no other compensation and left us to figure everything out, even though it was their mistake. The employees, an shorter blond woman and a younger with black hair, could not have cared less about their mess up with our vehicle and did not apologize and when we told them they needed to do better, the woman just said “ok” and continued to make excuses. The worst customer service and probably the most incompetent two people in Buffalo. Don’t bother making a reservation with them because it doesn’t matter, it doesn’t mean anything, as you can see with plenty of other reviews. EDITED: So someone in a reply below told me to contact support which we did and let them know the information about our reservation, etc. The man on the phone said he would escalate it to their managers and the manager would call us back. We asked how long because we didn’t want to be stuck waiting on a call when we needed the rental to go do things, and they said the manager would call back in “just a few minutes.” This was Saturday right when we received the car at 445 pm and now it is Sunday morning and we still have no call back or compensation, nothing. We spent 3.5 hours trying to figure this out and TWO HUNDRED extra dollars to rent a car same day with another service, and Enterprise customer service can’t be bothered again, to give us a call back. What a joke."
"Very kind and knowledgeable staff. Probably the best Enterprise experience we’ve had thus far. Our check in and check out process was very straightforward and they accommodated our early return. Shout out to Issa + the team for the stellar customer service and recommendations. I’d definitely use this enterprise again."
