"Price has gone way up! My son and I were tired and hungry and wanted a quick meal. We each had a stack. We were asked if we wanted to make it a meal, with queso or guac for our chips, plus a drink. We said yes; he ordered guac and I got queso. What a shock at the register to realize a small drink and small cup of queso adds $5 and change to each meal! We spent over $40 for the two of us. We realized we could've eaten in a real restaurant with much better quality food, and be served our dinner for that price. We won't be getting the meal again because it's not a bargain at all! And if you order it to go, I noticed you get far more chips. Add some free salsa, and it would've cut close to $12 off what we paid. And after the sticker shock- my son's guac tasted off, like the avocados had turned bad. I did exchange it for another cup of queso without any problem."
"The food is good at this restaurant. However, Shrinkflation has hit restaurant hard which translates to higher prices for less food overall. Even the best food has little value if the portions become smaller and smaller."
"A little before Christmas my husband and my son went into Moes for dinner. Unfortunately maybe 3 steps inside my son got sick. Me and my husband frantically were cleaning it up and the manager of the location had to be the kindest soul. She came rushing over brought my son a water , told us she would clean it up to let me bring him into the bathroom to clean him up. She was beyond gracious to us, naturally we were mortified and she made it feel like it was absolutely no big deal. When I came out of the restroom there was a ginger ale and two waters waiting for us. She assured me many times it was ok and she gets it as she has young kids. Her patience and kindness was something that will never go unnoticed. Thank you!"
"I visited here for the first time recently as I live out of state and don’t have a Moe’s near me. Jorge put my food together and seemed eager to do a good job and was very accommodating and helpful. We got 2 burritos (adobo chicken, and one tofu) and some chips and queso. Pros: I really liked the adobo chicken, it was juicy and flavorful. The chipotle ranch was a stand out and enhanced the overall flavors of everything else. The white queso dip was really rich and yummy. I liked their “salsa bar” and being able to try the different offerings and take them with me in my to-go order. Cons: I feel like $35 for what I ordered was kind of insane. I live in Michigan and ate at a Moe’s in NY so I know things are generally more expensive there and wonder if they were in Michigan, maybe it’d be more reasonable. That aside, the portions are way too small for the price I paid. The burritos are literally half the size of Chipotles and even smaller than Qdoba. That was a bummer to notice when I got them home. That is my only complaint: the value for the money and the portions. As it is, I would rather spend that money at Chipotle and get something bigger. Chipotle’s ingredients just seem fresher and they give more meat, too."
"a very enjoyable experience. the food was great and filled me up, and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. the manager was very kind and asked us if everything was great even after sitting down. thank you for a great lunch!"
