Rain Men

"We had used Rain Men to winterize our sprinkler system in 2021 and it worked fine prior to their involvement. This spring they returned to turn on the system and something was wrong. I was out of town so the "Professional" sent out told my wife that after turning it on that there something was wrong, a leak or no water pressure. I returned a week latter and found the leak in the back corner of our home because they had never turned it off prior to leaving. A month later we have a large water bill and in discussing it with the Owner he told me it was my wife's fault for not turning off the system after his guy said there was something wrong. She, not the "Professional", should have found the controls and turned it off herself, that we "hired him to turn it on, not turn it off". He could care less about the problem, costs and blamed it 100% on my wife who is not a plumber or sprinkler expert. We are taking up the issue of the water bill in court, I would never use or recommend these people to anyone. And the leak was 20 feet from the control panel so unsure how his guy missed that.. In response to the Rain Men comments, this is typical of the Service we received. I was dealing with two different people there so I don't believe one is speaking to the other. There was no initial threat of a lawsuit, there was a call to discuss the problem which was met by an angry owner who insisted my wife should have turned off the system and that she was wrong. Needless to say, done with these guys."
