"Nice guy who nicely explained food options to u. Did not really enjoy the food, got the soy garlic boneless wings. It was fine, I’ve just had better. For the price we just expected better. The fried rice was so-so also. We also go bibibowl which was good but all cold except for the chicken and also still kind of eh. Picked radish was good."
"Checkout cashier have terrible face after I press no tips on a takeout order. And this place Korean chicken wings are the worst I ever had! Chicken over cook not fresh obviously they re-fried when new customer order. . Sauce taste weird. Disappointed. Never comeback again I threw it away ordering other food. Wasted my time and money."
"Was super excited for Bon Chon to be here on the Island. However it quickly turned sour. Preface: order in person for take out. I understand today was their grand opening and there will be problem with orders however what I witness while in store is disappointing. While in store, they stated they were behind in orders and would need 30 minutes before taking additional orders via phone and in person which is understandable. However I watched as staff continue to take phone orders in front of customers in store. Which I find disrespectful to say the least. The food was definitely overprice for the proportion I received. All the containers were half filled. Preface: I ordered for take out which may differ from in person experience. Soy Garlic Wing: seasoned well and nice crunch despite being 12 minutes away. Bulgogi: paid $20 for just beef and seasoned onions. On the menu stated it served with rice which I did not received. The meat was nicely seasoned but quite tough to eat. Tteokbokki: served with two vegetables potstickers. The Mozzarella cheese placed on top overpower the entire dish. Japchae: plenty of ingredients other than noodles $15 Bulgogi Bimbim bowl or Bonchon bowl: typically bimbimbap comes with the red pepper sauce. I did not received any. Bulgogi and onions were nicely season and flavor once again but the texture of the meat were hard to chew. Overall spent: roughly $100"
"Give them time..... I believe this might've been first day of opening so that being said they probably need more time to get adjusted. Went at peak time of 7pm so had a bit of a wait. I was about 10 seconds from leaving until someone yelled out to resume orders. It would have been a nice gesture to let us know they were waiting to catch up on orders instead of leaving a few of us in the dark. On to the food which is probably the reason I'm writing this review in the first place. The chicken sandwich almost made me hit the floor because of the pain I endured when biting into it. It was probably equivalent to biting the curb. Not sure If they triple fried it but this is not it. Granted the wings lived up to the hype and so did the onion rings. With that being said give them time and I think they would be a contender soon. I hope everyone else has a better experience with the chicken sandwich. Good luck to this establishment."
"As a Bonchon fan, had high expectations for this new location and it did not disappoint. Chicken and tacos were on point - fresh and flavorful. Food was served quickly and workers were very friendly. Would definitely come back for more."
