"When the branding revolves around the name of the owner and photos of her, you'd expect great service and a personable demeanor. But Hazel is aloof and unfriendly to a lot of customers. I've heard it from someone else too. Food was good but the owner's unfriendly personality will keep me from eating there again. It's a shame because I want to support local business."

"The food was hot and fresh all Though I ordered right before they closed. I wanted something different than takeout. The Mac and Cheese, smothered chicken with gravy, beans and rice, collards and cornbread. I will definitely order and I shared my review with my family. Great Food and nice portions."

"This was my first time, enjoying the most delicious food by Hazel! I had the fried fish, collard greens and baked macaroni and cheese, and they were all amazing! I highly recommend eating from hazels’s food truck when you’re in Staten Island and sit down to enjoy the view. You won’t be disappointed. By the way, the homemade cornbread is spot on!"

"A great option for on the go, ordered a beef empanada and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was when eating on the drive home. Also some great views of the skyline if you're looking to stick around the area. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for options outside of the ordinary "mall food" choices."

"Buddy had the bourbon chicken with rice and peas. Had some mac n cheese too. He said it's delicious, and I thought it smelled good. I had the fried fish(it was crispy) with mac n cheese, and a piece of corn bread. Buddy loved the mac n cheese, I ate it after it got cold and it was still okay."
