"When w partner, I had Pork Ribs, Rice and Gandules and an Alcapuria. The other had Beef Stew over White Rice. As a PR, I did NOT find the food to be authentically PR flavored, sorry. In fact it was kind of bland. Portion was ok, but total came out to about $38 w 1 water and 1 soda. This is not a fancy place and I think over priced for "meh" food. I won't go back."
"the food was delicious and the waiter/host nicaragüense was excellent."
"First time here. There's enough space to enjoy your meal with family. Freshly prepared, freshly cut, hot food you can't miss. Will definitely come back."
"Went yesterday, enticed by the assortment of meat in the showcase window. There was plenty to choose from, chicken, beef, pork and numerous sides. Pics below. I had some oxtails w arroz con gandules, (rice and peas) My plate was pretty large, with 4-5 oxtail pieces and a huge serving of rice and peas w a couple of plantains for $12. The oxtails were well seasoned. The star for me was the rice and peas. I was instantly transported back to Grandma's tiny apartment in the Bronx where we piled in every Sunday after church, eating from TV trays. Def going to get some again to share w my dad, so he can cosign on this being close to his mom's cooking. With so many menu options to choose from I will be back. Take out or eat in. Pleasant staff, clean environment."
"The food was very good (try the beef stew) and not very expensive. The place is clean and well air conditioned. It was a pleasant place to sit and eat. The staff was polite and welcoming. It also wasn't overly busy when I went which was a plus."
