"This is my favorite spot in Roselle Park. I come here at least 3 times a week, and I cannot recommend it highly enough! This local gem offers an exceptional dining experience that truly stands out. One of the highlights of dining here is the incredible lunch specials. Every day, they offer a different meal, ensuring that there is always something new and exciting to try. The variety is impressive, and each special is as delicious as the last. It's clear that a lot of thought and care goes into planning these daily specials, making lunchtime something to look forward to. The service is equally commendable. The staff is friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, always ready to offer great recommendations. The ambiance is warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a casual lunch or a relaxed dinner. If you're in the area and looking for a place to eat Colombian food, there is no better place. The daily lunch specials alone are worth the visit, but it's the overall quality and attention to detail that will keep you coming back. Five stars well-deserved!"
"I was greeted warmly and everyone was extremely friendly. We only wanted to buy some pastries, but decided to try the arepas after their recommendations. The stuffed arepas were amazing. Very meaty and stuffed to the absolute brim. I feel like my arepa was packed and I loved it. Especially for the price ($15), I was a bit uneasy, but the food spoke for itself. I'd get it again. Very messy and saucy to eat, but I loved that about it. Others might not. The pastries were good for the most part. We got a chicken empanada, but after 1 bite, it was hollow inside. Maybe a teaspoon of meat at the very bottom. It was a huge disappointment. I want to believe it was an unlucky draw, but it was like eating a shell of an Empanada. The beef empanada was the opposite though. Packed with lots of meat. For $2, I think it was worth the price. The hot sauce provided was also delicious and had a nice heat. Despite the inconsistency, I'd return to get more empanadas. I recommend this place for sure! Especially if you're tired of going all the way down to Elizabeth for the Colombian food. This one is very close, convenient, fairly priced, and most importantly...delicious!"
"The food was somewhat okay, but I definitely felt that the food is way overpriced for what it was. Spent almost 20 dollars for an empanada, a papa rellena, and a small tres leches dessert (4oz?). You can get a whole meal for that much and more at a different restaurant. Not sure if I was overcharged or not because I didn’t see or ask for the pricing before buying it. After this experience, I’m skeptical of the good reviews. The bad reviews seemed to be more in line with reality. Proceed with caution."
"Wanted to try this spot for a while. Their empanadas are okay! I have had way better! I did not like the pan de bono at all. I also ordered the arepa with chicken and it was flavorless. Might try them again but not too happy with what i tried!"
"I went to pick up 3 lunches & the rice in each lunch was horrible. It was pink as if they used leftover rice from someone else plate. It was a very mushy substance almost like mash potatoes. I called and they said it was a new ingredient they used for the rice that let a pink color out which left me just as confused. I asked for the manager to reach out to me"
