"This is a gem hidden inside Queens Center Mall’s food court! We have been following Burmese Bites on Instagram and we’re excited to see they have a real brick and mortar (almost!) spot where we can find them other than at the Queens Night Market. We ordered the tea leaf salad to go. The service was quick (took less than 7 min) and thoughtful. It’s the only time I’ve ever been given friendly instructions on how to serve and plate my food from a food court! We came home and put the salad together according to the instructions we were given. The tea leaf salad was just as delicious as I remember from the Knight market and other Burmese restaurants I’ve been to that I’ve enjoyed. A salad is layered with so many different textures and flavors and spices that it’s just like a dance with every crunch in your mouth. I also am shocked at how cheap everything is on this menu. Please go here and give them some business because we definitely need to spread the love of delicious Burmese food."
"If you’re not eating here regularly, you’re making a mistake. The food is so delicious, filed with so many flavors and textures. It’s family owned and run. The portion sizes are generous too. Burmese food is such a treasure. One of my favorites is the mango salad, the keema palata, any dish with chicken and try the drinks!"
"If you haven’t stopped by here when you visit the mall you need to change that ASAP. I honestly had no idea what Burmese food was until I walked up and I’m so happy I decided to try it. I got the tea leaf salad and the udon and I was disappointed when the dishes were done. They’re equally full of distinct, unique, beautiful flavors that made me want to keep coming back for more. I can’t wait until I come back."
"I’m not eating meat at the moment so it was nice to find a restaurant with vegan/vegetarian options other than fries. I tried the tofu bites with a sweet chili type sauce. Very delicious. Nice crispy exterior and soft interior. The price was a little over $5; great value for the portion size. I would recommend this place."
"Honestly, this restaurant is such a hidden gem inside QCM's food court! I ordered the coconut curry chicken soup and the kaneef palat, both were absolutely delicious and bursting with flavor. The prices are great for the amount of food they serve. Highly recommend!"
