"I’m very disappointed, the food was way too expensive for this portion size. And the meat tasted old and not fresh too. Do your self a favor and find somewhere else to eat."
"Food arrived well packaged, it looked good, tasted good until i went to bite into the meat and found hair, i grabbed the other piece of meat and found hair too, the other piece of (cow skin i believe) meat was coiled so the hair was inside of it. Pics included. This review is not meant to deter people from buying here but please let the chef know to cover their hair, head when preparing or cooking the meal. Threw away rest of the food. I ordered peppered meat too but havent come across hair yet. Otherwise fufu was delicious."
"I went to this restaurant today and upon entering the facility, you can see traveling luggages on the right floor for some reasons??? and then I was not so pleasant with the overwhelming BAD smell right from the door, furthermore I have been received by a lady who was nothing but pleasant or patient as I was asking her questions and making changes to my order to get what I really wanted! she had all kind of attitude rolling her eyes speaking very slow to make me understand that she will not change her position or her point, i think that’s a huge problem in the African Caribbean food industry, they are more focus on getting the customer’s money instead of making sure the customer is satisfied, come back again and bring more people in order for the business to thrive and grow! I think cleaning is one issue in this facility that MUST be address ASAP!!! The STOVE top (That customers can see from where you order your food) had food debris all over it also, the cooking pots were open in the kitchen!!! I mean, there’s so much to say! Also, they had a bunch of people eating at the back of the restaurant speaking super loud like they were in the living room or something, I guess they were family member or regulars of the restaurant, but this is so unfortunate for the image of they “restaurant” this is not professional at all!!! Customer service and cleaning ARE fundamentals in the FOOD Industry. bottom line is I end up not getting the food as it was more expensive that what are usually paid for fufu and sauce…Plus, the whole shenanigans threw me off… I just did not want to bother having this food into my body with the bad energy that came with it… this place need serious improvement maybe putting some nice candle to eliminate the smell and re-organizing the sitting area would be a great idea to start; Also, Luggage does not belong in a restaurant!!! Let’s hold ourselves to higher standards in order to grow as an community. Also, a smile does not cost much but goes a long way… I will not be going back to this place or recommending it to anybody at least not as long as it is like that. I hope those observations are constructive and not offensive, all the best."
"Best jollof rice I’ve ever had. I haven’t in a while, but I’ve been ordering jollof here for months. Always made the same and so good. I don’t like to go anywhere else unless it’s Sunday and they are closed. They never miss with the jollof."
"I ordered from here through Grubhub and it was NOT worth the price. As many others have mentioned, they’re very stingy with the portions. For 20$ worth of egusi soup I received 1 chicken drumstick, 1 small piece of beef, and an inedible fat/cartilage cap that I’m assuming was supposed to be the goat meat I ordered. At that, all of the meat was severely over cooked and dry. The flavor of the soup was pretty good and had a decent spice to it (I personally prefer it hotter though). The cassava fufu was smooth and supple, reminding me of the texture of mashed potatoes. The Nigerian meat pie I ordered came ice cold. Literally ICE COLD. It was like it had just come out the freezer/fridge as it was still even in a ziplock bag. If you’re looking for a good meal, at a reasonable price - I don’t think this is the place. I think you could get more bang for your buck and better food elsewhere."
