"Run don't walk here: this is some of the best South American food I've had in the neighborhood! The food is some of the best Peruvian food I've had: very generous portions, really good prices, a huge diversity of food on your plate, and everything is delicious! I got a platter of various meats, with plantains, rice, black beans and avocado. The meats were marinated, tender, well-seasoned and just so, so good. The maduros (plantains) were juicy and more succulent than some of the meat; the black beans were soft and flavorful. Even the rice was great: not too starchy or sticky. If anything, the worst thing on the plate was the avocados because they weren't seasoned and couldn't compete with all the good food! I also had a happy hour margarita which was also very good, not like the slushies that you might find at other places. The service was polite and quick: I felt like really taken care of, and my waitress came back several times to make sure I had enough water and napkins, and wasn't left hungry. I will definitely be coming back here again: the food really is worth traveling for."
