McDonald's 289 Bergen Boulevard, Fairview, NJ 07022

"Very bad hand hygiene on the part of whoever was preparing food on Saturday July 20th. I normally never eat out and prepare all my meals at home, but I wanted to treat myself, so I went to the McDonalds and ordered some sandwiches and fries. Three days later I had to go to the emergency room, where I tested positive for C. dificile, a bacterial infection that causes extreme diarrhea and dehydration. C. Dif is spread fecal-oral, meaning someone hasn’t been washing their hands after using the bathroom, and then going to prepare food. Fun fact about C Dif for the employees- hand sanitizer doesn’t kill it. That’s why you HAVE to wash your hands after using the bathroom. Hand sanitizer won’t cut it. Unfortunately this incident even affected my job. I had to take a week off and am now having to apply for disability. All because one person in the kitchen couldn’t bother to wash their hands."

"every time I come to this McDonald’s drive-through I always get bad service. The line is always too long and when you finally get to the window, your order is not ready and they ask you to wait. That’s not how it’s supposed to be. I ended up going to a different fast food place. This is the worst McDonalds"

"I ordered a coffee from this location this morning; order number 1467. Took two sips until I realized there was something in my mouth which appeared to be small bits of hairs, I don’t even want to specify what I think they were . I instantly spat out my coffee. This is absolutely disgusting and unacceptable won’t even think twice to come back here."

"Ehh, medium ish place, one never COME here at night, weather if the place is crowded or not at night they take forever for your order, even if it’s just a large fries order. In day time, you most likely have to wait in line forever even if you’re first or not, there is usually no one in the cashier to take your order and if their is they take one order then take 10 minutes to get to the other order. It all depends on the person to be honest, if theirs a group of teens, good luck, if there’s a group of grown people, hope for the best. I’ve been here since 2017, and my experience hasn’t changed since, maybe it’s my experience but for me, it’s a 3/5. There is however some nice hispanic people who are janitors who usually spill some tea about the restaurant, if you come across one of them, take them serious lol, drive thru is a mess to. it all depends on who the workers are as a person and your luck."
