"The staff at DJ Hart are incredibly racist. Never on my life have I witnessed such overt racism at work. My mother and I were looking around, both of us being black women, and when we didn't find anything so we left the store. One staff member ran out of the store accusing my mom that she had stolen something- The entire time we were in the store the woman was watching us, rather than anyone else, and I know it was because of the color of our skin. This behavior can't be tolerated, our day was ruined and the employee didn't feel remorse at all. I would refrain against going to this store, such prejudice is intolerable. Update! After posting a review on Yelp and Google about the racist treatment I received at the store, the owner found my number online and called me on my personal number and accused me of lying about my experience at the store. She called so many times and accused me that I had to block her number. I urge you to refrain from supporting this business, the owner was so rude and aggressive and did not care to consider the fact that some members of her staff are implicitly racist. I would have taken the review down if she had addressed me professionally and had reflected on the behavior of her staff, but instead of believing my lived experience she accused me of lying. I guess it is just a symptom of being a black woman in America, not having your story believed :/"
