"I have been to every thrift store on the Island and this is far the worst. I suppose they concentrate on clothes, but the housewares and decorative stuff is always over-priced or chipped and broken. Overall the store is pretty grubby. So frustrating that is has always been this way, through countless managers. Also, there has been an alarm going off in the building for, and I am not exaggerating, YEARS!"
"How a white woman gonna curse up on someone who clearly can’t understand/talk English? Especially in front of their little daughter? The employee had some nerve to embarrass her like that when she literally did nothing if you guys actually check the cameras. Next time check your facts before yelling and cursing at someone for no apparent reason."
"Came in at 5:45pm on a day google says they close at 6:30pm as per a phone call 5 weeks ago. The manager was yelling in the store stating their clocks say that it is 6 o'clock and that is the time it closes when customers told her the actual time it was she said they go by what their clock says even though the actual time was 5:50pm. She kept yelling and cursing for everyone to get out of the store in front of my 11 month old son. I should probably also mention that my family is biracial, I myself am Hispanic with my son and husband being colored and all of the customers were colored and the manager was white. ."
"The prices on the wall mean absolutely nothing. According to the cashier "it's an old sign" well it's been wrong for quite some time. But she's says not the stores problem. Asked "manager" and she says the same. And gives me a number to talk to someone. Well that went nowhere as it was for a Adult Rehab center. They give me a number to some upstate office that could not help but take information and email it on. Then gives me a nyc number to the Manhattan Adult Rehab center. Place is dirty and unorganized as well."
"Well organized and clean..very friendly staff..forgot my wallet and they held my purchase until I came back. Good deals!"
