"Let me just start by saying the sales associate Nadine is a sweetheart last night i came into the store to buy a pair of slides for my wife. When i walked into the store she greeted me and helped me from the time i walked in to the time i walked out this is what customer service is all about. She needs to be promoted what a sweet heart will always come to this location if she is there working."

"If I could 0 stars I would, the staff at the shirley store are nasty lazy human beings that could care less about the customer. The lack of empathy on a mistake that they made turned into an argument because she didn't want to do her job. I did not raise my voice or get nasty and the employee with the red weave stormed off refusing to give her name which prompted me to call the Corp office while I was in the store. Folks do yourself a favor and shop anywhere but there."

"As we approach back to school shopping, I decided to shop locally for my 5 children's sneakers. I entered the store with my family (5 children and husband) and observed 3 staff standing at the counter. The store was quiet with minimal customer's. My husband and I walked around the store to view the inventory. We were in the store for about an hour measuring and selecting sneakers for our children. NOT 1 staff acknowledged us nor asked if we needed assistance. My husband reached to the overstock shelf quiet a few times to reach for a shoe that was not on the lower shelf. Furthermore, when we reached the counter to check out (10 pairs of sneakers) the cashier (her ID tag stated Assistant Manager)did not acknowledge the BOGO sale or the fine print; rather she proceeded to ring up the items. I asked the cashier (Assistant Manager) if any of the 10 items qualified for the BOGO sale, at that point she stated the sale excludes NIKE and CONVERSE (which was pretty much my entire order). My reason for the 2 star rating is solely on the customer service experience in which we were not greeted, we were not asked if we needed help and ultimately was not asked if we found everything we were looking for. To spend over $400 in a store and not receive standard customer service is something for me to consider when shopping locally vs. the mall/outlets. Hopefully, once management reads this review they will lead by example and speak with staff regarding standard customer service and how essential it is."

"I was looking for some comfortable yet stylish casual shoes and Famous Footwear did not disappoint. I was able to find what I was looking for and luckily my item was on sale. The cashier was courteous and even with a mask on, I could tell she was smiling as she rang up my purchase."

"Prices are high, the store has free parking, well lit, many nice brands to choose from, this particular branch is usually clean, but today was very messy with shoe papers and garbage in many places. There were shoe boxes on the floor and garbage that made the carpet look really dirty. Like I said, it's usually clean, but not today, I did'nt have a pleasant shopping experience today."
