"Bjs is the only thing left in this mall that is up and running. Funtopia should be closing soon as well as the mattress store as it is very empty everytime I pass. The owner of the mall must of hiked the rent so much that it is impossible for businesses to survive. Noticed they placed a Amazon sign recently. Bring back retail!!!"
"I give it 2 stars because there's really no other place to shop other than BJ's fabco shoes a liquor and a 99 cts store. The fun house upstairs. They closed the Burger King. I think they should put some new stores in to attract more customers"
"I used to feel like I was getting a deal at BJ's but I spent $300 and didn't even really shop. Prices are outrageous these days. I'm glad they still allow coupons"
"When I was a young kid in the late 2000s up until the late 2010s, this mall was a busting center for shopping and retail and was fairly unique compared to other malls in the area, and holds a special place in my heart as the Toys R Us that was once located here was my closest one and one that I had gone times during my childhood. However, ever since the departure of Toys R Us and K-Mart and one section of the mall entirely closed, it hasn’t really made any attempt to bring back customers or any new retailers for that matter. Aside from BJ’s, Funtopia and maybe perhaps Burger King, it just feels stuck in the early 2000s and possibly even before that but now as a shell of what it once was. The level once used by Toys R Us, K-Mart and Nathan’s on the parking lot is now used by NYC DOT as storage. However the rooftop parking lot of the mall is the saving grace of the mall for now, as it provides an excellent view of the neighborhood as well as Manhattan and Downtown Brooklyn."
"Wow what a hike. I just followed the crowd walking with shopping carts to the mall. I tried to locate the entrance on Google Maps but couldn’t figure it out. There is a long ramp leading you down a hill to the entrance. There are stores inside. But I arrived before they were open. It’s near the subway, three buses stop in the area also. You will see a cemetery and a Catholic High School. Very interesting adventure to the mall."
