"I WAS THERE AND PURCHASING SOME ITEMS WITH MY SON AND THE CVS BLOOMFIELD AVENUE NEWARK, NEW JERSEY,MANAGER WAS SO DISCRIMINATORY TOWARDS ME AND ALL I DID WAS TRY TO GET THE PRICES RIGHT AND I ASKED HER TO GO LOOK THE PRICES UP AND ALL I KEPT GETTING FROM HER WAS NO THIS NO THAT I WAS NOT AWARE THAT COUPONS WAS ON THE APP UNTIL THE CASHIER MADE THAT AWARE TO ME AFTER SHE RUNG ME UP I ASKED THE MANAGER TO VOID THE TRANSACTION OUT AND SHE WOULD NOT BECAUSE SHE WAS SO CONCERNED ABOUT GETTING HOME AND CLOSING THE STORE AND THE STORE WASN'T EVEN NEAR CLOSING AND IT STILL WAS A HALF AN HOUR LEFT ON THE CLOCK. SHE MADE ME AWARE OF THIS ONCE SHE CAME OVER TO ME SHE TOLD ME AND I QUOTE "I DIDN'T WANT TO DO THIS BECAUSE IT WOULD TAKE TOO MUCH TIME RING IT ALL YOUR STUFF BACK UP". I WAS FLOORED! I SAID THIS IS YOUR JOB HOW COULD YOU SAY THIS TO A CUSTOMER. I RECORDED EVERYTHING AND SHE KNEW THIS I TOLD HER I WAS GOING TO CALL HER MANAGER WHICH I WILL AND I ALSO TOLD HER THAT YOU I WAS PURCHASING CLOSE TO $300 WORTH FOR ITEMS AND JUST BECAUSE I WASN'T AWARE OF THE COUPONS BEING ON THE APP THAT DOESN'T NEGATE YOU DOING YOUR JOB AS A SO-CALLED MANAGER. I ALSO MADE HER WEAR THAT I'M RETIRED/DISABLED OFFICER/ ACCOUNTING/ OF 23 YEARS AND A BIG BOX CORPORATE MANAGER OVER 17 1/2 YRS. AND I'M ACCUSTOMED TO DEALING WITH THIS. I TRIED TO HELP HER BUT SHE WAS RELUCTANT TO MY HELP. ONLY AFTER ABOUT A HALF AN HOUR DID SHE TRY TO AVOID THE TRANSACTION AND I EXPLAIN TO HER IT WAS TOO LATE YOU HAVE TO DO IT RIGHT AFTER THE TRANSACTION WAS DONE. THEN SHE TRIED TO PLEAD WITH ME ABOUT MAKING A COMPLAINT AND SHE WAS TRYING TO BE NICE I TOLD HER YOU CAN KEEP YOUR NICENESS NOW AFTER YOU WERE SO BRUTALLY RUDE TO ME. SHE TREATED ME LIKE MY MONEY DIDN'T MATTER LIKE I DIDN'T MATTER AND KEPT TELLING ME THAT I COULD GO HOME AND DO THIS OTHER STUFF AND I TOLD HER IF I WAS HISPANIC OR DETAILS BUT YOU TREAT ME LIKE THIS....AND I ALREADY KNEW THE ANSWER. IT'S A SHAME THAT PEOPLE GET DISCRIMINATED ALL THE TIME AND IT NEEDS TO STOP. THE ONLY WAY IT WILL STOP IF YOU AND EVERYBODY THAT STANDS AGAINST RACISM AND DISCRIMINATION STAND UP TO PEOPLE LIKE THIS AND SAY NO I WON'T TAKE IT NO MORE."
