"I stopped in to pick up an order for a friend. When I got there, I was told the order had already been picked up. Obviously whomever received it was a mistake. I asked them to remake my food and was told they couldn't. I was told my friend had to issue a new order. It was explained they couldn't make food without a transaction behind it. There was a transaction (my friend's unfulfilled transaction), the mistake of issuing food without a transaction was already made when the food was given to the wrong person. You can't avoid a mistake which has already happened. Equal examples to issuing food to the wrong person would be, food was dropped or food was eaten. Are they telling me they wouldn't remake the food in those circumstances? Apparently not, because they would need another transaction for that. The responsibility of a food service is to make sure the customer receives what they pay for. This time, the customer didn't. I am not impressed with the lack of care and service here. Side note, this Popeyes location leaves you with an unclean feeling and the atmosphere is not inviting. I hope something is done in a positive way, soon. I don't feel any of it to be acceptable."
"Came from Ithaca, on a Monday evening. Placed a large app order to pick up an hour later, since that is about how long it takes us to get there. Got there about 10 minutes late, so figured food would be ready. Waited about 40 more minutes to get our food. I did have a big order, but figured an hour pick up was enough warning. Staff was nice, but maybe short staffed? Not a lot of communication. Luckily, our order was perfect, and everything tasted super. Worth the drive and the wait."
"I went in yesterday around 1:30. Got a #5 5 piece tender combo and strawberry Fanta. It took almost 20 minutes to get my food. Orders after mine were finished before. When I got my food, the breading was very thin as if the chicken had been stuck together in the fryer while it cooked. The fries were hot and fresh yet at the same time limp and soggy. Not the best I’ve had. The employees apologized for the wait and I really appreciated that gesture."
"Popeyes on Marshall Street is decent, but it doesn't quite live up to high expectations. While it's convenient that they stay open late, the overall experience falls short. As expected with fast food joints, there's a noticeable wait time for orders, and the establishment itself already shows signs of wear despite being relatively new. My expectations weren't too high to begin with, given the fast food nature of the place. However, I was a bit disappointed when I couldn't order the butterfly shrimp as advertised, and instead received popcorn shrimp. It was alright, but not what I had in mind. On the bright side, the mac and cheese was a standout, though it could benefit from a bit more melty cheese. Overall, Popeyes on Marshall Street is alright if you're in need of a quick bite, but don't expect anything extraordinary."
"Worst Popeyes to order from. I ordered from here about a month ago and they told the driver someone picked up my order. I called because the driver was freakin out and was transferred mid conversation and then was told they would remake it. Then they never made it and I had to cancel the order. I made the mistake of ordering from there again yesterday and also never received my order. If this store can’t handle online orders, they need to remove it."
