"Outstanding service and staff! I began my annual vacation with a failed starter. My family traveled 5 hours to A Bay hoping we could have our boat repaired when we arrived. The team at Hutchinson Marine turned my boat around repaired in 24hrs !!! Unheard of anywhere else. TRUELY grateful for their service. I recommend Hutchinson Marine for any of your boating needs in Alexandria Bay."
"I have nothing but great things to say about HBW service. On a Sunday in June, we had an underwater hit to our bravo 1 outdrive in Pennsylvania. We hauled it to HBW on the Wednesday following Sunday, and that day they assessed the damaged and ordered new bravo 1 outdrive and transom kit. Parts arrived within a week and they began work as soon as they could. They professionally dealt with our insurance company and kept us in the loop the whole time. They pulled the engine, put the new transom and outdrive on and put the engine back in. They saved our vacation! Minor adjustments were addressed immediately to our satisfaction. Thank you HBW for the prompt and professional service!"
"Let me begin this by saying that I am up here from Maryland to fish on my boat. I had an issue with my motor like a misfire on Tuesday afternoon. I dropped the boat off at HBW that evening, called as soon as they opened and said they would try to get my boat checked out that day, they did get it checked out but didn’t call me until after they “fixed it”. The motor at this point has about 26 hours on it and less then 6 months old. When they called me and told me they fixed it they said that it was all 8 spark plugs and a fuel filter and instead of covering it on warranty they charged me $430 even after I told them the shop that I had bought the motor from in Maryland said that they called the mercury tech support and said it was covered. Well today I got out and fished for about an hour and went to leave that spot and the alarm starts going off saying starboard fuel injector on my smartcraft gauge and idling the same way it did before. I called the shop and they said they would come tow me back in I was about 3 miles up river from where they are located. They towed me back in and when we got back I asked Leah when they could check out my boat because I leave tomorrow morning, she told me their mercury tech was off today and that he wouldn’t look at it until tomorrow. Meanwhile I had to of my buddies with me and they were talking to Cindy at the parts counter and she said that the mercury tech had just got there. So to end this review I payed $430 to get no fix for my boat and now I get to go home only fishing two of the 5 days I had the option to fish. Also great to know that the service manager (Leah) had a gallon of fireball nearly empty with a shot glass next to it right on her desk. This is the absolute worst marina I’ve ever dealt with."
"I purchased a Sea Ray boat from Hutchinson Boat Works in the summer of 2015. Since then Hutchinson’s has provided service, winter storage, pick up and drop off annually. From the time of purchase until today, Hutchinson’s has always provided excellent customer service and high quality workmanship at a fair price. Hutchinson’s Boat Works continues to be a business where honesty, fairness and integrity matter."
"Bought my boat here 3 years ago when boats were in very high demand. I have always felt that they have treated me extremely fair, and have always delivered on time all the services they offer. When I buy another boat I will not hesitate to buy from them again. I will continue to have my boat serviced at Hutchinson as well."
