"Had their service department do 1" extensions and grips on new p790 irons (4-PW) since I was overly busy at work to do them myself. Request for logo down was ignored for starters, ended up trying new grips that I didn't like so changing them now to mcc plus 4, few things stuck out and bothered me; 1. They didn't remove the old tape, trimmed it back to put the extension in then threw new tape over the old. 2. More than a few clubs had excess epoxy that wasn't wiped off the joint. 3. A few of the cubs had extensions that were cut +/- 1/8". Pretty dissatisfied to say the least when you pay $1500 for irons then another $150+ for extra service. Do yourself a favor and learn to do it yourself or take them to a better pro shop where somebody will put some pride into their work."

"Went in for a scheduled iron fitting back in 2019 and was scheduled with a guy who went by “Boston Tony.” I told him I’ve hit my friend’s irons pretty well who were +0.5“ longer than standard. I tried a few different game improve irons while there and landed on TM Sim 2 irons. He insisted I should go with a half inch shorter than standard which I could not fathom how that could be...He said this was due to my swing path, I hit them okay during her fitting and to this day I really can’t hit them consistently. For reference I am 6’3” and have long arms and legs. Not sure if that guy still works there or not but I would steer clear of him and ask for someone else for anything fitting related. I have since went elsewhere and got fit for TM P790s with that +0.5“ shaft length and I am a much happier camper."

"I had heard mixed reviews about getting a fitting here. I had Tom as my representative and I could not be happier. Explained every step of the process, got me several different clubs to try out. Ended up finding a club that added more carry, club speed, ball spin. I can not wait for my new clubs to come in and cannot thank Tom enough for his help. Will definitely be back."

"My club fitting was a waste of time and money because when I tried to follow up with the fitter afterward to place an order I left several messages for him and he could not be bothered to call me back. Very poor customer service!"

"I purchased a new set of custom fit Cobra irons for my husband's birthday. During his first use at the driving range, the head of his 6 iron snapped off of the shaft and flew down range. Although the club was brand new, he paid to have it repaired thinking it was a fluke. Took the clubs out on the course and the head of the 7 iron broke off on a tee shot. Now aware that something is functionally wrong with this set, he went back to Golf Galaxy for an exchange/return. I know none of this is Golf Glaxys fault, but the way the manager treated a paying customer was atrocious. He told my husband it is normal for club heads to snap when hitting off of a mat. Also said it was probably the angle he was hitting and would likely happen again with another set. Funny my husband used a cheap set of $200 irons for 10+ years and never broke a single club. They did ultimately complete an exchange, and I'd like to say our sales rep Ed was wonderful during both trips to the store. We will not use this store again due to how their management treats paying customers."
