"NO STARS!!!! My 5 year old granddaughter was referred here by her Head Start Program. This was her first eye exam and she was very afraid of the machines. They insisted that she be put into an auto-refractor and then attempted afterward to do a glaucoma test (on a 5 year old???) which bursts air into the eye---as if she were not scared enough. The doctor/technician was very short mannered and was not willing to work with her at all. I have worked as a technician in this field and heaven forbid that they should break out an old fashioned Snellen Chart to have the child identify pictures at 20 feet away. Children are children, not mini adults...They do not comprehend things or process information the way an adult does. When a child is visibly scared, take some time and try being kind instead of referring to them as "a kid like her" or "problem child". This person would not even attempt a normal exam, she simply handed my son a card with a phone number on the back and told them to "call there they deal with kids like her". I'm sure that they will want to bill her insurance for doing nothing, which will hinder her from getting a proper eye exam paid for under the policy and force my son to have to pay out of pocket. If they, in fact, do bill for this appointment, it will constitute insurance fraud. Would you really want to be treated by a clinician who commits insurance fraud???? I'd think twice before patronizing this practice. I happen to have the courage to post a negative review when it is called for; how many others have had similar issues and have not said anything?"

"I remember her being the eye doctor at wal mart for a time. Glad she moved on from there. Dr. Vinroe Coltz and her staff are just great. They are pleasant, handle business properly and efficiently. Always kind and courteous and don't mind sharing some laughs too. Recommend them 100%."

"I went here today and I absolutely love Gwen and her staff! Very thorough on the eye exam very patient. Being my eyes have changed so much and I've been getting headaches at least once a day I blinked my eyes a lot and you're not supposed to when she's doing the exam and she was patient about it.. very understanding! Explained everything to me. And I took my daughter and they managed to squeeze my son and i in at the same time. Very easy to work with I would definitely go back!"

"My husband and I were looking for somewhere to get new glasses. Passed this office many of times in the past, so I decided to call. I can't say how pleased we were with the thorough exam that we had, never experienced that thorough of an exam for the entire time I have wore glasses. I can not say enough about the girls out front also!! Loved how easy they were to talk too and how they both took the time to help me find frames, and that was not an easy task. From the time you walk in your are taking care of by the girls out front and there is no time wasted. Prices are very reasonable even if you don't have insurance. If you are looking this is definitely the place to go for your money's worth."

"Terrible hours, shady with your health information to force you to buy there, LIE TO PATIENTS about treatment options, and super transphobic. Like, everyone just stared for a second after I tried to politely correct the mistake, then flat out ignored me and went back to misgendering amongst themselves. Bar none, the worst optometrist with the worst staff I've ever experienced."
