"Chris advertises the cabin as " Turn key". he means it. There are three coffee pots, one of which is a french press. Really well equipped. But what sets this apart is you have your own personal star gazing field on the property. Its a short walk, or if you have a lot of equipment, you can drive to it. 360 degree views of the sky. Really makes it easy and you don't have to drive to Cherry Springs. You can, and it's not far. Unfortunately for us, it started raining when we got there , August 7, and we decided to leave early, Friday August 9, and we drove in the worst storm I have ever experienced. No fault of the owner. Will definitely go again."

"The stay here was excellent! Well appointed and nicely decorated home with the peace and quiet we had sought. Did get to observe some stars on a partly cloudy night. More than adequate amenities. If I were to make one suggestion, it would be to add a banister to the inside stairs. Highly recommend to anyone. Check-in and out was a breeze."

"The cabin felt like home. It was cozy, tidy and very well stocked. EVERYTHING we had forgotten to bring was there for us. The location is quiet, secluded as described. The only down side was that it rained during most of our stay and we were comletely without electricity or water pressure for almost and entire day and lasted well into the late-night. It became a little difficult on my youngest child, as he is disabled and couldn't quite understand the situation. But the owners got everything squared away. Overall, it was a much needed reset for us city slickers. Thank you for having us."

"Exceeded expectations! The pictures don't do it justice. We walked in and were immediately impressed with how beautiful it was. The cabin is great and has all the amenities you'd want at home. And the property is just as amazing. The stargazing field gives you a great view. The trails are fun to explore. And the deck and fire pit are wonderful for just lounging and relaxing. The lack of wifi or cell reception was hard to get used to initially but by the second day is was a welcomed change of pace. I can't wait to go back again next year. Well worth the price and the trip."

"Slightly on the expensive side but an amazing place, loved it. Beautifully maintained, very clean. Came here with a group of friends for stargazing at Cherry Springs. The good thing is that there is a huge stargazing field right outside the lodge so you don't have to go anywhere. Although it was cloudy, there were a ton of activities/board games inside the lodge and in general, the surrounding was so beautiful. It is a great place for a peaceful weekend getaway, would definitely recommend."
