Island View Cottages 1872 Langram Road, Put-in-Bay, OH 43456

"Wonderful place to stay for a getaway that offers seclusion yet close to the activities Put-in-Bay has to offer. The cabin was very clean with a great view. We were there during the Sports Car races which were held next door to the cabin at the airport. The cars get very loud and the peace and quiet is greatly interrupted. But the cars were awesome to see and the people were friendly. We chose the time not knowing about the race so that had nothing to do with the cabin itself. The beds were comfortable and the shower pressure was good, but the showers are small, as you would expect in a cabin. We would definitely return to stay here."

"The Lakefront cottage was very clean and nicely decorated. The view was phenomenal and the area was very peaceful. Melissa was responsive to all my texts and helpful. For able-bodied people I would give this place 5 stars, but unfortunately my daughter was in a wheelchair. There is one high step going into the sun porch and another going into the cottage which we were able to work around. However the bathroom doors are not standard width and narrow. The wheelchair was not able to be used to access. If we didn’t have these issues, our stay would have been perfect. Easy distance to golf cart rentals, firewood and downtown PIB."

"So comfortable…your blood pressure and appreciation for the time to chill sets right in the minute you turn the key. Feels right at home. The cottage and property are beautiful and safe. It’s a step back in time with new decor mixed in tastefully. If you’re a pet lover, they are too. Dog treats in bows, extra leads, bowls, etc. Not a hodgepodge cheesy place. It’s the real deal!"

"We stayed in June 2020. The Lakefront cottage was very well appointed, clean, and exactly what we needed. Loved the lake view and the fire pit. It is close to the car ferry and to several golf-cart rental locations. Melissa was responsive and made our stay very enjoyable. We will be back!"

"We couldn't have asked for a better place to vacation with our dogs. The yellow cottage (dog friendly) was clean and comfortable. The dogs found the basket with tennis balls and Frisbees right away! The privacy on acreage allowed plenty of room to enjoy time with our furry friends without having to constantly manage them among people and other pets. The dog park was a very short walk away and we could peek through the trees to be sure it wasn't crowded before going over. We all enjoyed watching the peacocks and squirrels that visited throughout the day. We appreciate so much, vacation options like this and plan to make it a yearly trip."
