Income Tax Department 100 Lockville Road, Pickerington, OH 43147

"I think it's crazy how ridiculous these taxes have gotten! My Husband works in Columbus. So, not only does he have to pay taxes for Columbus. He has to pay for Pickerington since we live in a small apartment here. Same for me.. I work in Reynoldsburg. I have to pay Reynoldsburg and Pickerington taxes. So not only all the money they take from our paychecks.. they still want MORE AND MORE! It's impossible to get ahead anymore. The City of Pickerington, the City of Columbus, The City of Reynoldsburg, THE STATE OF OHIO!!!!. NO ONE CARES!!! Inflation is killing my family. I have tuition for my daughter's kindergarten, she needs a surgery. My zson has needs, my family were struggling. My family we live off needs not wants. I always pay my bills, always. Sorry I didn't know there was ANOTHER on top of the MANY my Husband and I pay out of our checks and when we file taxes every year. It's never ending. And to try to get someone to care is impossible. To try to get help it's impossible. They don't care about us as people. All we are is money."

"Yet again, Pickerington says I owe them taxes when I haven't lived there in years. They are incompetent and it's clear I am not the only person having this issue! Trying to extort money from hard working people is their mo. I will never spend the money I earn elsewhere in this corrupt city. I don't know how they get away with this shady practice."

"One year the Pickerington tax department fined us for not filing when indeed we had filed. They realized their mistake though and took away the penalty that they were imposing upon us. This year I couldn't get the website to work so I decided to just go in and have the tax people do my taxes for me. Much to my surprise there was no wait, and the woman completed it in a minute or two. She was so fast!! I'd pick the tax department over the BMV any day lol."

"One of the most difficult departments that I have ever contacted. I owe taxes from 2016 when I didn’t even live within city limits. By the way of they issue a court date chances are you won’t receive mail from them until after the fact and then they’ll issue a bench warrant. No one can tell me the amount I owe. I have been trying to resolve this for over a year to no avail."

"One of the most incompetent taxation departments I've ever had the displeasure to deal with. Randomly, they started claiming I owe taxes for years I didn't even live in Pickerington. Today I got a letter to "appear in court" for today's date for "unpaid taxes" their own website says don't exist. I have no idea why they think I owe taxes at this point, but I'm getting fed up with their incompetence and their apparent unwillingness to contact me about these supposed taxes I owe."
