"I took me a little bit of time to be able to type this without getting as upset. We had to emergently place our Bernie here due to a death in the family and we had to go out of state. It was the only place that said yes and under normal circumstances I research the hell out of places. I did not care at all for the cages. They were so small and I have a big dog. I asked them to walk him 3-4 times a day when I found out they don't let the dogs out to run around. When I picked him up it was hotter than blazes in that damn place and my dog is mostly black and he had NO WATER in his bowel. When I got the bill, they walked him ONCE. He was so dehydrated that my husband had to sit next to him and almost force feed him water. It took a long time for him to recover from this. If you "don't have the time" to properly take care of someone else's dog, maybe you shouldn't try to take care of so many at one time or just don't do it at all. Shame on me for not doing my research but shame on you for doing this only for profit and not caring at all about the poor animals."
"Price wise, they are in the low end. But, you get what you pay for. I took my 2 dogs there and had the worst experience. When I picked them up, I was told one had diarrhea for two days. I had even called the night before to check in them and tell them what time I was picking them up the next day. It was never mentioned to me that one of my babies had diarrhea for a day. It happens sometimes, but I should have been informed. When I got him out of the kennel, he had diarrhea caked on his behind that was never cleaned off. The lady said she hadn't had time to clean him off. They knew I was coming to pick him up. After I cleaned him off, it was apparent that the caked on diarrhea had been there at least since the day before, and his behind was red and raw. They said he only just started having diarrhea a day and a half before, so they weren't going to call or do anything. They also said he was not friendly, so they limited their interactions with him. That's not his personality at all. They obviously don't really know about dogs and body language. When I called the office to complain about the fact that he was never cleaned up, the owner just kept telling me that they couldn't help it when dogs got diarrhea. She completely deflected the fact that nobody cleaned him up, and I want advised. When I argued I was mad about he wasn't cleaned up and I wasn't told he was having issues, all she couldn't help that he had diarrhea. Finally, after going round and round, she said she cleaned him up personally the night before. I also asked why I wasn't called and informed, She said he only had diarrhea for today's. So she wasn't going to call him. Let me know until he had diarrhea for more than a few days. Then she would have just given him an Imodium. My other dog had a gouge out of his nose, and I asked why I wasn't called and told about it or if it was cleaned and looked after. I wasn't even told about it upon arriving to pick them up. The owner basically told me he was digging and probably hurt it that way. He's not a digger. I was asked why I wasn't told or why it wasn't cleaned, and she didn't have an answer. Around 6:30 pm the day I picked them up, (I picked them up at 9:30 am) the owner called and left a message saying that my one dog (the one with diarrhea) completely destroyed the metal flashing around the doggie door and I should check his mouth. She also said she's never seen a dog do that much damage. This is not like him at all. He shuts down and doesn't destroy things when he's stressed. Anyway, I didn't notice any injuries to either of my dog's mouths or faces after I cleaned them up when I got them home (they were filthy). But I did recheck both of their mouths and faces, and there's wasn't a mark on either of them that indicated they carried out such destruction on a metal flashing. I also don't like their general layout. The kennel is very loud. I'm not sure how climate controlled as it was almost 80 degrees, and it was a little warm and stuffy in the building. They use stones/pebbles for flooring instead of cement. How they sanitize is beyond me. They also have a bell that goes off in the kennel every time someone pulls into the driveway. It's as loud as the period bell in school. Which you can imagine freaks out even the most emotionally stable dog. They only feed once a day so they don't have to clean up kennels at night. I left instructions that both needed fed 2 times a day due to sensitive stomachs and vomiting. Who knows if that happened. They both came home and started drinking tons of water, which made me question how much water that had access to during their stay. I have never experienced such poor care. I unfortunately had to find someone last minute because my normal boarder wasn't able to take them. This place was recommended by a friend, which is why I selected to take my babies there."
"The facility was clean an very busy. I didn't care for how the animals were kept in small cages with gravel outdoor an plastic grating on the inside. They have so many animals an no way to get them all out of the cages for any length of time. So only the ones who pay $5 extra a day for a 30 min walk. The employees were nice and efficient. Its not what I want for my dogs. I will have to look for other accommodations in the future."
"If I could rate this place a lower rating I definitely would. My dog is still recovering after almost a week of being home. They make up excuses for their lack of care and refuse to take any responsibility for anything. A dog doesn't come home extremely dehydrated with a severely infected tail with proper supervision. Very poor management, terrible animal care. Do some real investigating before you "trust" this facility. I've found out so much more by asking questions. I never would have gone their if I had done so."
"Just boarded our standard poodle Kelcie with them. Was an all around tough decision for me. But was a great experience. Friendly staff, beautiful, clean facility. Just wish all of our things would have been returned to us. Other than that no complaints. Glad I have a place to trust if I ever need to leave her again. ***EDIT*** Our missing items were returned! They were being washed! Again I have no complaints, was a great all around experience for us and we will be back! Thanks again!!!!"
