"My partner and I have been working with trainers from Sits n Wiggles since we brought our dog Willow home in March of 2022. With their help, we have completely resolved Willow's separation anxiety and have made great strides on improving Willow's leash reactivity toward other dogs! Sits n Wiggles uses positive reinforcement training, which is backed by science and helps make training fun for all involved. We've done a few sessions outside the dog park, and they've been incredibly helpful for Willow's reactivity. As for her separation anxiety, Willow can now be home alone with free reign of the house for up to 7 hours! When we started the separation anxiety training, Willow couldn't be left alone for more than 3 seconds. I've taken three classes with my reactive dog and have had an amazing experience each time. We took the 6 week Reactive to Proactive Behavior Modification class, and even though I had already been implementing a lot of the strategies already, we learned so much. Being in a controlled environment around other dogs was incredibly helpful and a big game-changer for my dog's reactivity. Since taking the class, Willow's been noticeably calmer when seeing other dogs on our walks and can more easily disengage from her triggers and re-engage with me. Great care is taken in each class to ensure the safety of all participants. We started out behind covered x-pens, then gradually opened them up as we progressed through the class, allowing us to practice the techniques we'd learned with each other."

"My wife and I have worked with Valarie for almost a full year. Our veterinarian recommended Sits and Wiggles when we had inter-dog aggression between our three year old corgi and 9-month old corgi. After our initial online training (pre-recorded videos) and intake form we had a video call, and talked through our goals with Valarie and how we wanted to proceed. We had the option of video sessions, in-home sessions, or outside sessions. We used all three over the months. Valarie is and was always patient and kind during our sessions. She clearly loves our dogs, and worked with us to find answers to why the aggression started. She helped us identify a medical issue in our older dog, as well as getting us scheduled with the Ohio State veterinary clinic to diagnose our older dog. Valarie helped us realize that our older dog wasn't "quirky" she was reactive, and we worked through medications to get our dog in a place where she could tolerate our younger puppy. We continue to work with Valarie (and Michelle B!) in behavioral modification classes for our oldest. She loves her teachers, and is slowly and surely becoming a better controlled dog. As dog owners we've become better teachers, and learning we have to change too, to help our dog. We highly recommend Sits and Wiggles for anyone who wants to help their dog become better trained and behaved."

"I’m so thankful they opened up this year despite Covid-19 going on. They were very professional and adjusted everything to accommodate the CDC guidelines to stay open. Before them I was at a loss for training. My dog was an out of control puppy that never listened, was constantly biting me and destroying our furniture and eating everything in sight. After 2 different courses he listens to me better and has definitely slowed down on the constant biting of my fingers and toes. His recall skills are great (unless he’s eating his dinner.) Valerie was so positive throughout the training process and has given us plenty of tips on how we can better manage his behavior and fine tune the training. We still have some more classes to attend to get his reactivity better managed, but I am so incredibly blessed to have found them this year!"
