"As a retired engineer and building contractor I’ve had the pleasure of working sporadically with PIC Electric for almost 40 years. They have always been top-shelf. Recently I had the opportunity to engage with Lou Picciotto, now the 3rd generation family business owner. It was a real pleasure. An ice storm took out my power line and also damaged the service mast on the house. That portion is not Penn Power’s problem. I had to get it repaired before I could even schedule Penn Power to reconnect. I called Lou at around 10 AM. He didn’t have anyone available so he called 4 other contractors on my behalf, all of whom were also tied up. Around 11 AM two of his guys finished another job early. In a freezing rain, Lou, with his arm in a sling, loaded up an extension ladder and drove to my house to meet his guys and get them started. When we came up short an unanticipated part, Lou drove to two different suppliers to get it. By 2 PM the project was complete. The workmanship was, as always, first rate. Lou and PIC Electric went way above and beyond to help me out of a tight spot, but that’s just who they are and have always been. I would highly recommend PIC Electric."
