"Was turned away for not making an appointment to request a replacement SS Card for my son despite having filled out the form ahead of time. The last time I was there a week ago, I was told by another employee I could come back with the right paperwork. The employee looked at my license, saw my zip wasn't local to Mt. Lebanon and the guy told me I need to go to the office near me, it doesn't matter that I work near this office despite the website saying I CAN COME IN WITH THE RIGHT PAPERWORK, and there is no mention that the offices will only help you if you're within a certain milage of the zip on your license. Thanks for wasting an hour of my day and necessitating a 3rd trip to any office. This office is as useless as the DMV these days."

"I don’t understand how the SS call center can give false information they told me that this office is the only one that do walk in and when I get there to the office that was false information. I was told this twice today that this is the only office that do walk ins Someone needs to update this information. The white lady behind me today had a different circumstance and I apologize not knowing the full story but the guy that I just spoke to from this office informed me there are certain circumstances to not to need a appointment."

"Um, wow. That was a shocking experience in the best way possible! I was expecting the Social Security office to be like going to the DMV, but it was very different. I came without an appointment on a Wednesday afternoon and had all of my documents lined up that I needed because I did some research before hand. Took about 30 minutes for me to be called, but it wasn’t bad at all. Then the guy who helped me out, his name is Benjamin, was not only incredibly professional, but also very friendly. I did not expect this at all. I don’t know what the other employees are like, but I have to say that if all government employees were like this, Benjamin guy the government would be far better off"

"Went in without an appointment was met by a very polite securi person, he showed me to kiosk to enter required information. Waited 1 minute was called back to speak with Benjamin. He was very pleasant and helpful ! All forms were processed immediately, could not have had a more positive experience."
