Instead of stopping people from speeding, illegal parking or any other crime, they’re more concerned about kids selling lemonade. Congratulations, you just made a bunch of kids dislike police and the people in the area disgusted by your actions."

"All the one star reviews are accurate. Useless dept. Happily tell you they cannot do anything or help you before they even listen to why you are inquiring or calling. They are there to protect the rich residents (donators/high tax dollars that pay them). But they are great at sweeping things under the rug. So I gave them one star cause they did/do that very well."

"This evening we had the blessing of being protected and served by Officer McBride. He responded to our call for our vehicle which suddenly became undrivable. He stayed with my daughter and me as we waited for a tow. He was patient, friendly, knowledgeable, calming and helpful. He made a challenging situation easy to navigate. We are so grateful for his direction and support."

"Most useless police force in the state, no doubt. Standard response is "we can't help you." They cater the junkies and drug dealers at 10 N Meadowcroft Avenue and inform them if you have complained about them. They receive videos, verbal information, 911 calls and refuse to act on the information. Called 911 in April regarding a disturbance at a drug user's apartment. Responding officer knocked on MY door, then left the building without investigating. They believe anyone who lives in my apartment complex is not worth protecting. I have lived here for 19 years, pay taxes, am employed full-time and have never had so much as a traffic ticket, yet it took Chief Aaron Lauth FOUR MONTHS to respond to a complaint. He only responded because I sent a second complaint and copied every single person that I know on this planet, including all of the local politicians and media. They are a disgrace to the uniforms they put on. They have no interest in protecting the public, well maybe if you live in a mansion, but we working class folks are not special enough for them to care. This community has become a drug-infested cesspool under Chief Lauth's watch."

"This morning I was driving on Washington Rd. in Mt. Lebanon. I had a flat tire. A Mt. Lebanon Police Officer pulled me over to let me know I was driving on the wheel rim and I would eventually ruin it. I am not using his name to respect his privacy. My husband was at work, I don't know how to change a tire and I don't have AAA. This Officer could have left me there but instead he changed my flat tire. Who does that nowadays! He was so kind & considerate. The Officer was friendly to me the entire time & never made me feel like an inconvenience. Officer XXXX, thank you so much. That was a huge act of kindness. I am posting this publicly because I want everyone to know how many of our police officers go above and beyond the call of duty. And I can testify to one of them today."
