"Hi, I would just love to share my recent experience with everyone. I’m currently new to the area and had just opened a salon. So banking with someone new and building a new connection isn’t always easy. However my experience with Merlyn F. was outstanding. Super welcoming when entering the building, greeted me with a smile and kindness, answered all my questions and was very attentive and helpful. Thank you Huntington Bank for making my first experience exactly what I needed it to be."
"If you want to open an account with Huntington Bank, you’re better off going somewhere else—literally anywhere else. I went in expecting to open up a new account as a first time customer and the teller told me I can only speak to someone by making an appointment which she would be happy to schedule for the following day. She proceeded to inform me of their hours, but told me the incorrect time as her coworker had to correct her. Unfortunately, I have things to do and places to be like most people do during bank hours and today was the exception. This is where it gets worse and where the motivation for writing this review comes into play: She told me I could go online and create an account myself. I must be a psychic or something because I see many things going wrong with this, as I was under the impression a physical ID and social security card were needed to open a bank account. I don’t work at a bank though and everything nowadays seems to be transitioning to “do it yourself online” so who am I to think such things. So I sit in the parking lot, in the comfort of my own car, and attempt to create an account with Huntington bank while their employees stand around, doing absolutely nothing. After I completed the form and, ultimately, contributed to free labor since the paid-by-the-hour employees couldn’t help me, the funniest thing happened. Apparently, based off of the information I provided, I would need to physically visit my nearest bank because they needed more information to verify my identity. Even more exasperating was there was no mention that their locations were by “appointments only” so either way I would have wasted the gas for absolutely nothing."
"Absolute waste of time. I walked in to change my last name on my account after just obtaining my license with my name change at the DMV. There were two employees there, and the woman was kindly assisting another customer. The man finished up on the phone with a customer and then came out afterwards. He asked what he could help me with today, and I said that I needed to have my last name changed on the account to reflect what my new name legally is and to potentially get a new card reissued to me with my new name. He asked if it was just me on the account, and I had told him that my mother was also listed. He informed me that my mom, who does not live near me, needed to be present in order for me to make that change to the account and he could not assist me today regardless because he was "finishing up a loan". This was at 2 in the afternoon today, and the branch closes at 4. I called Huntington customer service, to see if this was accurate information, and the woman I spoke with kindly told me that he should have been able to assist me and that she is very sorry for the inconvenience. Normally I would not mind, but my closest branch (unfortunately this branch) is about thirty minutes away. I took the day off of work to finalize things at both my bank and the DMV within their hours of operation, and now I have to do so again with the same documentation and information I had on me with my previous visit. I am visiting another branch to make these changes, as I wish to not waste my time again."
"I recently moved to Pittsburgh and miss having a Huntington Bank clear to me. My town and surrounding have everything but this chain. I could easily transfer but I can't. I have never had such an amazing bank to hold my money. Plus, the cat and dog debit card that is now a tap card.... Yay!!"
"Every time I visit this location I always leave with a good attitude. The staff here is always extremely friendly and eager to help with anything you need. I have always been one of those people that absolutely hates going into banks, but not at this location. The amazing customer service this location provides makes me glad that I have switched to Huntington Bank and I can not bring my self to ever using another bank ever again."
