"Every other bank in town is open for full business and yet pnc still keeps their lobby closed. I travel the entire country week after week and see posted everywhere about a coin shortage so figured I would bring in a few hundred dollars of coins to trade in for cash but nope lobby is closed due to pandemic. Scared of a virus that has a 99% survival rate. When this is over I will be leaving pnc as a long time customer"
"Mirroring what another reviewer said, I too had trouble closing my account and withdrawing my money when I moved. I set up the account in college in 2011. I only ever kept a couple hundred dollars in the account, which turned out to be a good thing. When I eventually decided to close the account I called multiple times, but eventually (after several attempts to get the information), found out that I could not shut down the account and withdraw my ~$200 because a hold had been placed on the account. Because of this I would have to come to the branch in person to close it down - a challenge for me because I then lived in Arizona. Not to be deterred, the next time I found myself in Grove City (about a year later?) I went to the bank which was, of course, closed. SO the next time I went back to Grove City (probably another year later, the dates are fuzzy at this point), I went back and finally got to talk to someone about my account. For some reason beyond my comprehension at the time and that I have now forgotten they were unable to give me my money and close my account. So, after being thwarted in all my attempts to get my money back, the account has remained at PNC, on hold, inaccessible and out of mind, UNTIL TODAY, when I finally got a letter from them saying that after years of charging me fees to hold my money, my account balance is $0. If you are a college student who thinks this will be convenient - go with Discover Bank online instead."
"Opened an account here when we moved to Grove City. They were helpful, kind, and quick. They have ATM machines available all over and they also helped us get set up for a credit card at the same time. Check out the awesome historic vault that's built into the back of the bank when you get a chance."
"We do our personal and business banking here. The bank staff are always ready willing and able to do all that they can to help us out. If they can't answer a question directly...they try to find the answer through their corporate resources. And they're always doing what they can to win your business. I've had pretty good luck over all with Citizens branches...so there's not anything bad to say about them. Thanks for the great service!"
"Worst customer service I ever had. I came to this branch in order to withdraw my money and was told to come back the next day. Came back the next to be told that they cannot help me at this time. No explanation whatsoever as to why they could not give me my money. When to another branch to find out that the lady by the name of Kathy, had put a hold on my account. I never had any issues with PNC until this happen. Made me rethink if I should look for another bank."
