"I've lived at same address in McKees Rocks for 18 years and never had a problem until recentlywith the past 6 months or so with them not closing my mailbox lid on my porch. I've posted a note clearly visible on the front of my mailbox to CLOSE THE LID because I've had important documents get wet due to rain blowing onto my porch. They still don't close the lid on occasion. They clearly don't care or are distracted with talking on the phone. I know this because it's all recorded on my doorbell cam. Unreal"
"In the past, I have went to mail packages and sometimes have needed tape and I asked them can I use their tape to seal my package it was never an issue. They usually always have the packaging tape on the roller. Not to Mention she was surrounded by those rollers and tape. They let you use the roller you tape as much as you need to tape you give them back the roller this is the first time ever. I went to the McKees Rocks post office and was told that I need to buy tape that they don’t have tape for customers to use so maybe this is a new policy for 2024. Or maybe people have just been nice in the past. I dont frequent post offices and barely mail things so I don’t know. But no thank you obviously I need to be better prepared the next time I come to the post office but I just wish I would’ve known they no longer allow you to tape your packages and want you to buy priority mailing for a non-priority package or they don’t let you use their tape anymore. Also might be helpful for you to put up a sign that you can no longer use tape from the post office. This is the first time that I’ve had an interaction with this woman at this post office. I don’t know if it’s her or just a new rules but I’d rather go somewhere else because it was poor service as well dealing with her matter of factly attitude. All that being said I went to Crafton and they let me tape my package and sent it off for me."
"They do terrific customer service at this post office I'm a stamp collector and I want my postcards and letters to be hand canceled and they've done that graciously I really appreciate that very much I'm headed over there today and I'm hoping that they have the new Standing Bear I need a sheet of the Standing Bear stamps"
"Excellent customer service! Was very impressed with Jerry/Gerry (?). It was 15 min before closing, long line, rude customers, and yet he continued to smile and exude a sense of calm. There was a woman in front of me who was not fully prepared, but he helped her graciously, despite the snide remarks of other customers in line. Thanks for brightening my day!"
"If I could give 0 stars, I would. Just like greentree post office who actually is in charge of our mail. This is the closest one to my home and I mailed a package to Canada on Aug 2. Today, Aug 30 I recieve the package back. My name wasn't on the return address, just the address, and that isn't allowed with customs. Thank you for noticing that, clerk, before you took my $15. It was stamped Aug 19th for return to sender and took 11 days to get back to me. ALSO, the underside of the box is opened and barely hanging on. Thank you for taking a month to notice my name wasn't on it. Anything to deal with USPS is a joke. Expensive joke."
