"Very very poor customer service. At my most recent experience at this bank, the two tellers were extremely passive aggressive and unprofessional with their responses towards me for no appropriate reason whatsoever. Ridiculous! I don’t recommended this bank if you don’t want to be treated like an inconvenience for simply wanting to handle your money. Such an uncomfortable and terrible experience from irritable tellers with poor attitudes."
"This bank is absolutely terrible, on every website they have terrible reviews. They literally got sued for being deceptive, sorry to burst your bubble Sam Wesbanco has been terrible since I’ve used them. They would try to make me feel stupid for overdrafting and the whole time it was on their end. I got a lousy 34 dollar settlement that they slipped in with out telling me. Spoke with an attorney after getting off of the phone with the bank. He’s going to request some information and file a new complaint on my behalf. He said I’m not the only one calling about wesbanco and says I won’t be the last."
"I've been banking with WesBanco for the 3 years I've been in PA. I lost my wallet today with everything to do with who I am and no way to access my money and the New Brighton branch closed so I went to the Beaver WesBanco to get a new card and disable my old one. I was glad to walk in and see Jodi that I knew for a few years in the N.B. branch and we had a conversation with the other two bankers there and they both said it was good that I knew her or I wouldn't have gotten service. What luck!! I gave her my SSN and told her I could give her any info they need and she said it's good, I know you, and then right in the middle of this lady helping me, the lady that I assume is the bank manager stopped the whole thing and said they hadn't sufficiently established ID for me to call a 1-800 number. I was pretty upset having biked from Rochester and left the bank in disbelief at what just happened especially that Jodi didn't speak up.. then I went back in to use their phone and by this time they decided to print me a card out and acted like that didn't just happen... No apology no nothing... I'm in my 50s and banking for a while and knowing someone in the bank is the only reason you can do a transaction without your ID. And I not only knew someone in the bank we had a conversation amongst the four of us about the fact that their teller knows me....And then I gave my SSN as well? This is definitely not the type of place I want to bank with. This is very poor Bank management and customer service. And on top of losing so many important things I get treated like this because this lady made some sort of judgment on me after my ID had been established. I will be closing out two accounts with Wes banco by the end of the week. Edit: I've been happily banking with Huntington Bank for a few months now. So far it's been a good bank with great customer service and there's generally one in every town unlike WesBanco"
