"My father built the chapel here when it was only a branch. It was their first church building in that vicinity for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint in Meadville. We lived outside of town 8 miles. The people were wonderful. I gained a strong testimony of the Book of Mormon during this time and it has only continued to grow stronger by the years. The members of our faith have given much for the people of this country and this world. The principles of being prepared and serving others as Christ would give benefit to both members and nonmembers. We are taught to love one another as ourselves. I would encourage anyone interested to reach out and contact the missionaries and learn about forever families and our deep devotion to our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. Through prayerful seeking, the Holy Ghost will and does testify to the truth of this restored gospel."
