Reviews of Beaver County District Court 36-2-01
"The staff at this location is highly impolite and unhelpful towards the public. They exhibit a lack of concern and willingness to assist. In my experience dealing with various magistrates, I have never encountered such disrespectful behavior from government personnel. It is concerning that those who are meant to aid individuals with their needs are behaving in such a manner. To receive additional help, it would be best to reach out to the attorney and appear in court. How you're treated when calling or going to the front desk in person? I'm pretty sure you wouldn't be treated any differently inside the courtroom."
"Only because you can't give negative stars. Extremely rude, disrespectful, unprofessional. Office staff literally displayed my citations to the other girls, waved them around like a hand of cards and mocked me openly as I stood at the window. I felt belittled & bullied. They should be ashamed of the way they act, the state should be held accountable for continuing to allow these people to work there. If we had this many bad reviews, public or otherwise, we'd lose our jobs. Maj. Howe is great. He's understanding, he'll listen to you and he's extremely Fair."
"I dropped off a document a week ago (the office was closed at that time) and called today to check on the status. The "woman" that answered the phone was very rude and diarespectful. She tried to tell me that I never dropped it off and that it never happened because "theres 3 of us that work here and none of us have it". I laughed and said well perhaps you can look again or check the cameras because. She said "we must have somebody stealing from the box since we dont have it". After assuring her that it was dropped with my Fiance as a witness, she stated "Oh, i remember you coming in while we were on lunch". Again, I had to laugh because first, she lied and said I never dropped it off, then changed her story to addmitting I dropped it off when nobody was even working. Its just sad that our tax dollars are going to somebody that will blatently lie when it come to processing legal documents."
"I'd give zero stars, and it's not because I'm mad about my parking ticket. I'm guilty....but when I try to pay it don't be a horrible person and hang up and treat people like trash! Trashy!!!!!!"
"I have no respect for the people who are answering the phones in this business. Due to Covid I had to reschedule twice and the lady lied & said she was not wrong. Funny thing I still haven't received that letter. Regardless, I paid the price for her unprofessional behavior and I am personally discouraged by the way they conduct themselves! I heard the judge was fair but the only way to speak with him is to write a letter so I was told by her. So they can intercept it and cover it up again, no Thank you. No matter, in the end, because I did the right thing and paid for the ticket. They will answer to a higher power in the end."
