Reviews of Second Baptist Church
"UPDATE 2022: This place has no written permission from the Borough to block the road- according to the Police Sergeant. The Chief of Police had given oral permission to block the road, but they were supposed to give notice EVERY time they blocked the road for Sunday morning ONLY. The Chief of Police is retired now, so that agreement is null and void. Everyone in the neighborhood is allowed to park on the road as it belongs to the town. On top of that, they harassed a citizen who was trying to go to work and blocked their car in by standing around it and impeding traffic. The alleyway was also blocked, and there was no entrance for emergency vehicles- which is ILLEGAL. I don't care who it is- no one is above the law. PREVIOUS 2019: These people used to be nice. Now, since the end of last year, they put cones in the road and block people in who live there. They never did this before except for activities. Now they do it every Sunday. They don't own the road. How can you call yourself a church if you're going to act like this?"
"It my family church in Rochester pa always feel at home in the lord's house come visit feel refreshed after"
"@Amy T. The church obtained permission from the Rochester Borough and the Rochester Police Department to close this small area (that, by the way, has no houses on) as a way to alleviate the use of parking spaces that belong to the neighbors. Its from 9am until 1pm every Sunday. I'm very sorry that you feel so negatively about this. Please let us know what we can do to bring a resolution that would suit you as we are open to suggestions. I'd ask that you get to know "these people". We are a God fearing, people loving congregation whose sole motive for the closure is to be better neighbors. God bless you!"
