Reviews of South Park Township Public Library
"Nice little library. Not a ton of books, but I can't expect much based on the small building. You can borrow: books, DVDs, Blu-ray, video games, and board games. Books for 3 weeks, movie/games for one week. Auto-renew for your borrowing. They have computers that provide a two hour browsing session, you can lock and walk away for a little, but your session is a single must be resumed before timeout...or you can't log on again."
"I tutor my grandchildren several days a week at the library. The space is great and the staff is very friendly!"
"Don't bring your children here, if you want to use the children's room. They have inflatable chairs for the kids, but the staff on duty yelled at our son for playing on/near the chairs. Why have this room if you don't want kids to use it? There were no signs indicating this. We think this person was having a bad day. It's a shame as it is a very nice and well kept library otherwise. Hence the two stars instead of one."
"The adult programs are engaging and relevant, the childrens' programs are fun and educational. The library staff are knowledgeable about resources for every topic, including special needs and accessible options. The "Mind/Body," section is SO great, with CD's, activities boxes, books and books on CD - we are very fortunate to have such a valuable treasure in our local library."
"Excellent public library! One of the best in the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh system. The space is bright, clean and spacious. The staff is friendly and helpful. My kids also love coming here for the well-designed kids space with seating area and toys for little ones. This location has a huge selection of movies, music and comics! There is a lovely, quiet reading area with a fireplace separate from an equally awesome reading area (equipped with a vending machine) for teens. If the Pleasant Hills Library wasn’t so close to home, we’d definitely make this our primary public library."
