Reviews
"I have been both a student and adjunct professor at Duquesne over the past five years and have had one of the best service experiences anywhere--ever. I have taught and studied at other colleges and universities and Gumberg's library staff is simply the best. They have helped me with everything from educating students on how to conduct research to helping me with my own research. They have gone above and beyond and recently have helped with gathering the materials I need to complete my dissertation. I can't thank them enough. In addition, everyone is always so pleasant. It has been a pleasure to have this resource. I am very grateful for what you do for Duquesne University."
"An excellent library that grants public access up to 5pm. Alot of rare materials exceptionally helpful to Africans who want to know more about your country before colonization happened. Extensive online downloadable material with diverse connections to the most useful databases. Excellent staff who are knowledgeable, patient, helpful and personable. It has a noisy section (4th and 5th floors) for those of us who cant study in too much quiet and private rooms on the floors. Abundant sockets to recharge electronics and a curriculum center with games for kids. I highly recommend Gumberg library."
"Its a good library for the 80s but is very outdated and needs renovated badly. For the tuition price this being the heart of campus should be updated first but will not happen for while, the athletics will get all the renovations for the next 5 years"
"The library is pretty outdated, but they are working on updating it currently. It has plenty of computers and printers, multiple floors that offer a quiet place to study, a floor to meet up to work on group projects, and it has two Bloomberg terminals. The librarians are also helpful."
