"Great new place in Blawnox! Cozy atmosphere and you can definitely tell that everything is homemade. Since there aren’t many Afghan places around, I wanted to try as much of the menu as possible. I decided to try the bolani kachalo, tandoori samosa, chicken kebab with brown rice, homemade cake, and Afghan naan. The food was very good. The chicken kebab came in a generous portion. The chicken was cooked perfectly and quite tender. It was juicy and flavorful but not too spicy. There was also a refreshing side salad with some creamy sauce on the side, which was very good. The rice was well cooked too but nothing special and had no extra seasoning. I do wish they had a yogurt sauce come with it complimentary. The bolani was interesting. The portions here are large and this was large too. It’s a tad crispy on the outside and has potato and some leeks on the inside I believe. It’s good but nothing special. Does have some spice to it. The samosa was once again also quite large but surprisingly light. It’s delicious with fresh, juicy lamb on the inside. The corners are crispy. This was pretty perfect. Maybe a tad more seasoning but still very good. The naan at this place is some of the best I’ve tried in terms of value. It’s absolutely huge, like, bigger than a persons head. Think pizza size. Crispy bottom and soft on top. Very good. Finally, the homemade cake was a nice sweet treat to end off the day. Nothing too special but good. It had cream and orange pieces throughout. Like an orange Swiss roll but better. I liked it and it was cheap. All in all, a great new addition to Blawnox. I love the homemade feel and how fresh + delicious everything is. Would definitely recommend!"

"My son and I went here tonight for dinner and it was delicious! I had the lamb kebab with rice; the lamb was perfectly cooked, well seasoned and tender. I also had a samosa and it was the best one I’ve ever had; baked with flaky pastry and a delicious sauce. My son had the pizza which was tasty. The owner was so kind and attentive; it is clear they put a lot of love into their food. Nothing is fried which I liked too. If you haven’t tried it yet, check it out!"

"Have ordered twice from here and had a bad experience each time. First time we ordered in person and were over-charged with no itemized receipt given, and the quantity was super low for a 5-6 people platter. We shrugged it as it’s a new business and we want to support restaurants here Second time is tonight, ordered Kabob pizza and it’s the sorriest version of a pizza. Cheese running off, small pieces of kebab strewn 1 per slice which are firstly nowhere close what they have shown on their website and secondly, below any normal standards. You reallyyy need to up your game and quality control, Nusrat."
