"I am appalled at hearing how my sister was treated by this companies driver. My sister suffers from seizures and migraines and their driver Mike was verbally abusive. He kept telling her that she has serious problems after she asked him several times to turn around and drive her home the route she was familiar with. When she tried to pay him for the ride he wouldn't hold his hands out for the money. So my sister laid the money on the console in quarters. The quarters went flying & landed on the floor. Mike told my sister that she was going to pick it up! When it wasn't her fault he didn't open his hands to receive When my sister finally returned to home after he talked to and screamed at very rudely she tried to get out of the vehicle but couldn't because the door was locked 3 times she tried. She asked him to unlock the door 3 times he didn't respond . Then he said Oh you want me to unlock the door. Finally after my sister told him the 3rd time to unlock the door he did. Mike was on some kind of Power trip . I live in Florida and can't be there to help my sister and be her transportation. But I can help her by filing this complaint against the man who verbally abused her. Verbal abuse is just as bad as physical abuse. I feel that if a company such as this is supposed to provide transportation for handicapped people and people who have disabilities that they should not allow a person such as Mike work for their company a person who transports people with disabilities should have patience compassion and be very caring and loving. When my sister called the file a complaint to his supervisor the supervisor didn't even seem to care about the way that he treated my sister. I feel that this company does not get human beings with compassion working for them if they're treating disabled people this badly that they should be shut down!!!!"
"Comfort Care refused multiple times to take a disabled veteran 4 miles down the road to a doctors appointment because they were afraid they wouldn’t get paid. Tax payers should be furious because their money is supposedly funding these “services” in Trumbull county. Shame on them."
"This company doesn’t deserve any stars! Absolute worst transport company! Always late dropping patients off. Has taken hours to pick back up. When called for ETA for patient dependent on oxygen they told me “I don’t care, it’s not my problem!” This is a continuous issue with this company. This is disgraceful!"
"We arrived at our appointment early and they picked us up for the return trip home on time on three different appointments. The drivers were always friendly and they never got lost!"
"I needed a ride from Youngstown to Steubenville, my care provider arranged this service, It was a marvelous experience. My driver was Nick who proved to be a safe, efficient and friendly driver. He was quiet when I was quiet and chatted when I talked. Our conversation was far ranging from football to dog breeds. He made this hour trip enjoyable. I have had drivers at both extremes, from babbling constantly to surly. Nick was perfect. I will ask for him again as I will need a car service soon."
