"do not recommend. They ran me through loops for months and nobody could ever help me or give me an answer. I was enrolled in the LPN program and I had to drop out days before class started because they failed to give me important information. They didn’t tell me anything until I already signed my enrollment agreement. Everything they did was backwards. multiple times I showed up with intentions of meeting multiple people just to be told they won’t be there. Never called to let me know or anything. Snippy program coordinator. No communication whatsoever."
"For a school claiming excellence our experience here was anything but. Student had a year filled with setbacks. She has gone through adversity since she began kindergarden and she was only the size of a 2-1/2 year old. She has had operations and medical issues all her life and in her senior year it was not a good year but she fought back and got her grades up only to be told that she could not walk in the closing ceremony because she had too many unexcused absenses. What a let down for a student who has fought and scraped her way to the top again."
"What a joke this "school" is. If you're thinking about applying for the adult education Automotive technology class just save yourself 20 grand and buy an ASE book for 20 bucks on Amazon and pay the $140 per certification and do it that way. After our "teacher " quit on us and some kid took over they're trying to force me to withdraw from the class after I was told my leave was approved after one day notice I had to return in under 24 hours after a medical emergency. Said I could reapply for financial aid and rejoin the class though. If that's not a cry for money I don't know what is. Dale wont help you. That's the guy who runs the circus. I promise you WILL regret taking this course, or probly any other course for that matter. Stay away from TCTC, and if your kid goes there good luck. I'm sure of there is a way they can screw you, they will."
"Adult education is truly a joke. There is absolutely no organization. The schedule for classes is simply made up as they go and the administration has absolutely no communication. My husband is in the welding program and he has been given six different updated schedules (three given in only one week with major changes) and they still randomly decide to move classes to different days with no notice. They choose to wait for students to arrive for class and then basically tell them they don't feel like having class that day and that they will just add days on at the end of the year. His last day was originally set for the end of May when he enrolled in the welding classes in September but now that May has arrived he is being told that he will be in class at least three weeks into June but state it may be even longer. Zero explanation other than the fact that there were three snow days. . . I am not sure where they learned math but three days and three weeks are very different. How is someone supposed to plan their life and families lives around such a ridiculous schedule. Teachers have no idea what is going on and seem like they could not care less. Save yourself a lot of headache and stress go to a school that actually cares about the education they provide and are hopefully smarter than the staff at TCTC Adult Education and can manage simple math and calendars. Run away from this place!"
