Rawlings Brand Store: Lancaster, PA

"Went into the store looking for two bats for my 10u twins. Spent about 10 minutes checking out all of the bats and picked two out that they wanted to choose from. We went over to the demo cages to see if they had them to try out. They had one of the two so we asked if they could swing it in the cage. The gentleman running the cage looked at my husband and said “you can only use these cages if you are in the market to buy a bat, these aren’t just for fun” in a tone that sounded annoyed and disrespectful. Seeing as we were in the market to purchase a bat, both boys went in and hit 5 balls each with the bat they had chosen. It was a $349 bat and we were looking to buy two of them. After the experience we had with this employee, I do not think we will be purchasing our bats from this store. The store itself was beautiful and clean and organized. It was very easy to find things, unfortunately that employee just made my entire family feel unwelcome and a burden so I will not burden them with my $700 purchase either."

"Where do I start. I bought the Rawlings Mantra bat expecting something awesome for the price. Oh was I wrong. First, Rawlings might have the WORST customer service I have ever dealt with. The bat broke in three different ways. The knob, the middle of the bat, and handle. So we sent it to Rawlings to fix because we purchased a Warranty. 11 days later we hear nothing from them after sending it. And I didn’t even know if they received it so I called them and they said we’d hear from them by Friday for more information. On Friday no one calls. And then they said they’ll have it to us by Monday, no they did not. That’s not even the worst. The bat has so many problems with it. The piece of the knob pops out the first round of hitting with it NEW. And that happened two times with a NEW KNOB. Another piece of it moves up and down in the middle of the bat because it broke and it is so annoying. We had the bat for 5 months, theses problems should not occur. And the last problem was on the handle a NAIL comes out of nowhere and stabs me when I’m hitting. My friends bats have the same exact problems. So before you by from Rawlings I’d say never again, because I in fact will never shop here again. I’m extremely disappointed and annoyed. Thank you"
