"Good parking lot. A bit small but it's good that it's so close to the Aviary."

"It’s a parking lot for the aviary. Nicely paved with great landscaping. Lol. I have been asked for this review 17 times now. Admittedly, it would be nice if you could walk into the aviary from the convenient doors adjacent to the lot. You do have to walk around the building. But, you can go that way on the way out."

"This parking lot for the National Aviary is small and is first-come first-serve. Fortunately, for my numerous visits over the years, I have always found a spot for my vehicle. The parking lot has a machine for payment of a flat-rate fee. If the lot is ever full for you, then you can park either on the street or at a garage several minutes away. In order to enter the aviary, you must walk out of the parking lot and around the building."

"What a cool experience this is. You get up close and personal with so many different types of birds. I was pleasantly surprised at how much there was to see at this aviary."

"Unfortunately there was no spaces left for parking by Sunday at noon. We parked literally across the park and the opposite side of the train tracks. It was Sunday so we did not have to pay for parking."
