"Washington Junction is a T station on the Light Rail Transit (LRT) line for Pittsburgh Regional Transit (PRT). There's 3 different routes that stop here. 2 routes go to and from South Hills Village mall. The other route goes to and from Library, PA. There's a park and ride lot next to the station for motorists to park their cars and ride the train to Downtown Pittsburgh."

"It's hard to sneer at a train station that offers free parking for commuters into the city. There are only 230 spaces and one of them has my Sprinter van today so that I can go into downtown for sightseeing. The station is handicapped accessible with ramps and highly readable signage indicating where we are and the next train to arrive. At 7:00 am, the platform was busy with commuters but there were plenty of seats on board the train. And because it is a junction where the Red and Blue and Silver lines stop, there are going to be multiple trains. I had a question for a staff person and so it was great that a very nice lady was working today. Why does the PRT app indicate "Not valid for rail"? Well, that's because the bar code can't be validated on the trains but she has the "validator" app and that's now all set. Washington Junction is indeed a junction where lines from Pittsburgh to Washington PA met up with lines from Roscoe PA. Note that you are only allowed to park in designated spaces. Anywhere else and your car might not be here when you return. Food and drink are not permitted on the train and if you're listening to something, you should be using earphones."

"Plenty of parking and 4 car trains for the game"

"Average trolley stop its what you'd expect for a junction joint point with the blue and silver line. Trolley service with the silver line has been meh recently. Overall it helps me pay my bills so I'm happy for it."
